Summary: Veggie lovers rejoice! Context, I came here, with my parents and sister, wanting something like a big bowl of veggies after skipping lunch and having eaten a lot of carbs and sweets out of convenience recently. I ordered a Chicken Fajita Salad and it was in a big bowl, with a lot of lettuce and rich with chicken, cheese, and avocado toppings. I don’t recall the name of the dressing, but it was mildly spicy and green. They also served both bean dip and salsa with chips as an appetizer.
Food Quality: Everything was filling but not in an uncomfy stuffing way. The flavor was strong, yet not to a blinding or garish degree. It fulfilled my desires very well.
Service: The waitress was incredibly nice. My sister has an avocado allergy and she got my sisters fajitas remade without avocado (quickly, efficiently, and despite only being told about the allergy after the food came out). They were also very attentive and we never had to deal with a lack of chips or drinks. Our food was out in a timely manner as well. We were also promptly seated by in a clean and neat table that was the perfect size (intimate, yet big enough that we never struggled for space even with waters, chips, bean dips, salsas, and entrees on the table)
Atmosphere: Fun and relaxing. It had a high energy, but not garish or trashy. The music wasn’t aggravating or boring, and sounded quite nice. It was also cold, which is always a massive bonus for both Texas and me who has a naturally hot body temperature.
TLDR: Good food, good service, good atmosphere, hit the spot. The only thing I could see being problematic is that I didn’t see any bike parking, but for a region like this it’s not unusual to have really weird parking (there was a good amount of disabled parking spaces, which was really nice. Anyone worried about non disabled automobile parking has plenty of other options in the neighborhood too, but we found a spot instantly right next to the...

Read moreSenor Locos was our favorite place for patio weather, good music, and we love Andy's Tacos. After Saturday's incident around 4:30PM we will not be back. For the owner/manager this happened May 29th. When we usually show up they tell us to pick a table outside. We waited because we did not see the waitress right away. When she appeared she told us we had to go to the front and ask the hostess to be seated. Puzzling because the patio is right next to the front door. My husband and I were a little confused but went inside, no one at the hostess stand so we walked over to the bar. The bartender (woman) gave us a dirty look, the waitress came back over and told us to just pick a table (rude voice) but don't pick a dirty table. Not sure why we would pick a dirty table? Moving past that my husband goes to the bathroom, I pick a table. Chips, salsa, water, great! Things are looking better until the bartender comes out and in a condescending voice asks what we want to drink. No QR codes so I assumed we would get a menu. I asked her for a menu and she literally just stared at me, rolled her eyes, and repeated what I just said. She stormed off. We decided this was not going to be enjoyable/relaxing so my husband and I grabbed our things and left. As we were leaving the waitress was waiting for us on our way out and sarcastically said "Have a nice day". There was no one inside the restaurant, only a few tables full on the patio so they weren't busy, but somehow this felt like they were purposely trying to get rid of us, discriminated against us, or they just don't like working there. Really sad, I truly LOVED this place, its a great little get away in a town a grew up in. I don't want to go back. Hope they improve the service and no one else has to...
