My wife and I visited last night because I was curious about the fun branding and cool building they have. We just moved from the Tarrant County side a couple of weeks ago and needed a good Mexican/Tex-Mex fix. First, we were greeted by the lovely manager or owner and seated at a small table by the window. Then within about 2-3 minutes we had our server (I believe his name was Omar?) bring us chips, two small salsa cups and a bowl of black beans. The service remained this fast and accurate the entire time. He was awesome. Also the manager was super nice and checked on us twice, even had us sign the Dia de Los Muertos skull for the holiday as we were leaving. She told us the specials for the week also. I have never felt this welcome at a Tex-Mex restaurant. Okay so service aside, the food was crazy good. My wife got the chimichurri tacos I think they're called. She is SOOOOOO picky about Latin American cuisine in general because of how much she has travelled... but nobody could deny those tacos were a real flavor bomb. Soooo good. I haven't taken her to a Mexican restaurant in 10 years that she liked nearly as much as Señor Locos. On my end, I was easier, the loco burrito was awesome. The ground beef was seasoned like piccadillo with lots of aromatics and smothered in queso blanco. Beautiful and delicious. The beer was awesome too. All in all, we check out a lot of places. In my 7 years of running a D-FW foodie instagram, I haven't found a gem like this. We will be back, regularly.

First off the pictures does not do just to this restaurant. Its was a late lunch, so i know l missed the rush. Only issue that came up was who was gonna serve us. I order the enchilada dinner which were very tasty and Señor Locos are generous on the portions. My lunch buddy only ordered shrimp tacos which was also a pretty good size. I could not remember the bartender/server's name or she never told us. She was honestly one of the nicest servers and helped me decide on what to try since it was our first time there. I will be going back. The location has a large patio deck which l believe will be great for evening dinners and date night. The bathrooms were spotless and well stocked.

Friday night about seven. We got the last table. It was too cold for the outside patio. We were in the main dining room. With a packed house, it was pretty loud. The margaritas were very good at a decent price. We had beef fajita enchiladas and taquitos. Both were very good. The taquitos were probably the best we ever had. They also have great chips and sauce. They have multiple sauces, all of which are very good. Overall we were very impressed with everything. Highly recommend. Update, food was just as good the second and third time's we visited. Parking is the biggest drawback for this place. Very limited parking!

Summary: Veggie lovers rejoice! Context, I came here, with my parents and sister, wanting something like a big bowl of veggies after skipping lunch and having eaten a lot of carbs and sweets out of convenience recently. I ordered a Chicken Fajita Salad and it was in a big bowl, with a lot of lettuce and rich with chicken, cheese, and avocado toppings. I don’t recall the name of the dressing, but it was mildly spicy and green. They also served both bean dip and salsa with chips as an appetizer.

Food Quality: Everything was filling but not in an uncomfy stuffing way. The flavor was strong, yet not to a blinding or garish degree. It fulfilled my desires very well.

Service: The waitress was incredibly nice. My sister has an avocado allergy and she got my sisters fajitas remade without avocado (quickly, efficiently, and despite only being told about the allergy after the food came out). They were also very attentive and we never had to deal with a lack of chips or drinks. Our food was out in a timely manner as well. We were also promptly seated by in a clean and neat table that was the perfect size (intimate, yet big enough that we never struggled for space even with waters, chips, bean dips, salsas, and entrees on the table)

Atmosphere: Fun and relaxing. It had a high energy, but not garish or trashy. The music wasn’t aggravating or boring, and sounded quite nice. It was also cold, which is always a massive bonus for both Texas and me who has a naturally hot body temperature.

TLDR: Good food, good service, good atmosphere, hit the spot. The only thing I could see being problematic is that I didn’t see any bike parking, but for a region like this it’s not unusual to have really weird parking (there was a good amount of disabled parking spaces, which was really nice. Anyone worried about non disabled automobile parking has plenty of other options in the neighborhood too, but we found a spot instantly right next to the...

Senor Locos was our favorite place for patio weather, good music, and we love Andy's Tacos. After Saturday's incident around 4:30PM we will not be back. For the owner/manager this happened May 29th. When we usually show up they tell us to pick a table outside. We waited because we did not see the waitress right away. When she appeared she told us we had to go to the front and ask the hostess to be seated. Puzzling because the patio is right next to the front door. My husband and I were a little confused but went inside, no one at the hostess stand so we walked over to the bar. The bartender (woman) gave us a dirty look, the waitress came back over and told us to just pick a table (rude voice) but don't pick a dirty table. Not sure why we would pick a dirty table? Moving past that my husband goes to the bathroom, I pick a table. Chips, salsa, water, great! Things are looking better until the bartender comes out and in a condescending voice asks what we want to drink. No QR codes so I assumed we would get a menu. I asked her for a menu and she literally just stared at me, rolled her eyes, and repeated what I just said. She stormed off. We decided this was not going to be enjoyable/relaxing so my husband and I grabbed our things and left. As we were leaving the waitress was waiting for us on our way out and sarcastically said "Have a nice day". There was no one inside the restaurant, only a few tables full on the patio so they weren't busy, but somehow this felt like they were purposely trying to get rid of us, discriminated against us, or they just don't like working there. Really sad, I truly LOVED this place, its a great little get away in a town a grew up in. I don't want to go back. Hope they improve the service and no one else has to...
