Updated part. Posted this over a year ago and noticed someone reported my review that it went back to pending. Days after this incident I spoke with a manager over the phone days later and she dismissed me like she didnt care or it was fake even though I took a pic of the raw chicken they served me. I used to go there with my family at least once a month. Original review: Horrible experience overall. Went there with my parents at 5pm on sat the 22nd. It wasn't busy (half tables open). It took around 5 mins to get greeted. The worse part was that we got served RAW chicken wings (one of them was red raw by the bone). I ended up with food poisoning. It's 4:45 am now writing this and I've been with diarrhea and fever since around 1am. When I noticed the most RAW wing I waived the manager down who was near by and showed her the raw chicken bone and she said it wasn't raw that its just the veins in a condescending manner. Like seriously? The chicken bone was clearly RED. She offered to make a few more. Which I was fine with but why make an excuse when it was clearly RAW. For my entree, I had ordered a medium-rare rib eye and told the server I wanted a warm red center. He said he'd order it rare to avoid being over cooked and incase it's under cooked it, they could cook it up a temp quick. Received the ribeye and the center was raw. It was raw cold rare center, which the server noticed and said it can be fixed fast and took it back to have them cook it up a bit. The manager brought it out fast the 2nd time and asked me to cut it and it was still under cooked, (it looked the same, cold rare) which she agreed it was rare. I told her I wanted a warm red center. She took it back and after a few minutes the server brought it and at this point the steak was way over cooked. It was medium-well to well done (all gray, no pink at all). The server noticed it was over cooked and apologized. I tried to eat a piece to see if i could eat it since everyone at my table were half way through their meal at this point. The steak was tough to chew so I asked for them to take it back bc I wouldn't enjoy it being over cooked. The server apologized and said he could have them remake it but I told him no bc everyone at the table would be done eating by the time I'd get it. The manager never came back to the table and we were told that she's the General Manager, which seems like she needs ppl skills. Also when I got home I looked at the receipt and noticed that the 18% tip I selected didn't make sense to the total tab. The tip was high (almost 30% of total $48 spent). It seems like it 18% option included tipping on the ribeye that I didnt eat. I was cool with tipping 18% on our tab since the server was nice and friendly even though we waited over 5 mins for him to refill on our non alcoholic drinks, and had a bad experience with the food but I'm not cool with a tip % option that includes tipping on a $23 steak that was made wrong and I didn't eat it...

UPDATE:
It has been 7 years since I wrote that review. This past weekend, my daughter and her fiancee were in town for my mother's funeral. It was a sad day for all of us because my mom was the best. I digress ... We wanted comfort food and I wasn't up for cooking and the whole mess. It was getting late, 9 pm on a Saturday night and the sidewalks of Lindale were about to be rolled up, we needed to act fast. I suggested Chili's and they were both as enthusiastic about that option as I was. In other words, not very but I remembered that Mom and Dad used stuff the 5 of us kids in the family truckster and we'd go to the Chili's in Addison and get those huge baskets of fries or even better, the chili cheese fries were the bomb diggity and it paired well the famous"Chili's Trip" their signature burger in the early days when they were primarily a Dallas thing, before Brinker intnl took them global or nationwide or whatever it was. Anyway, the wait staff had no idea what a trip was for some time. They decided it was a good plan to grow fast and forget the ones who brung you and expand the menu to a 14 page offering of everything that any Chili's fan would loathe, mostly.
Anyway, until sometime in the last few months, the "Trip" was still available as long as you ordered an old timer with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard. Nothing else, please. So imagine my shock when I told our little waitress: I ordered just that and she said "No." I thought she was playing with me and I laughed and she said, " No, sir. I can't get you that because we no longer do chili"
Yes, you heard that right. Chili's has now abandoned chili, itself. So, this reviewer will not darken their doorstep ever again. I suggested they change the name of the joint to "anything but Chili" or, even better, "Chili'less" . I thought it was clever she was not amused.
So, that's it, no more chili available at Chili's. Chili's is dead to me, now. Zero stars from this...
Read moreDecided to go to Chilis last night to have a quick bite after a long day. Arrived around 7pm, the place was empty and only had a few tables with minimal customers but lots of servers walking around. We got seated right away and sat at our table for about 10 minutes before we were greeted and the server took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer, super easy because it was chips and salsa. we waited another 10 minutes and our server brought back 1 water, there were 2 of us at the table and he walks away. By this time we have been there for 20 minutes with no drinks and no appetizer. After another 5 or 6 minutes the server comes by and says he will take our order..... uh... how about we get our drinks and our appetizer first!! He explained to us that our drinks were not ready at the bar, he said he checked but I guess he didn't realize that I could see him and he never walked over to the bar to check on anything so I told him we would like to have our appetizer if that was ok and then we would do our order (knowing we would be there a while). He said ok in a sarcastic manor and walked away to help another table. By this time we have now been there for over 30 minutes with no drinks and no appetizer and zero apology or anything. I finally told my husband that we should go, we were not a priority to the server or to Chilis and that was obvious. I always thought Chilis was a great spot for quick food, good drinks and great service but this time was just terrible. I have been to this location several times and the service was slow as the servers enjoy playing around rather than waiting on customers. I am also in the customer service industry and to be treated the way we did was unacceptable. We walked out after 35 minutes and went to another restaurant with impeccable service and great food. I don't normally ever do reviews because I feel everyone has an off day but this server really did a lousy job and we...
