Hello! I went to grab a bite to eat from the Jollibee location in Plano and it was my first time due to the fact that I live in North Carolina and there are no locations by me. I was super excited for it and all! I couldn’t make my mind up so I went inside to order and look at the full menu. It was shortly after 9:30 going on 9:40 on 5/8/23. I ordered a 2 pc with spaghetti and a pineapple drink with a peach mango pie and my girlfriend ordered spaghetti and adobo rice with a medium beverage. We were excited for all the hype we’d see online about Jollibee! The second we walked in, we didn’t quite feel very welcomed by the cashier, Daniela. She was very rude towards my girlfriend first and foremost. She made the assumption that we weren’t dining in considering we were walking in after 9:30. She visibly grew agitated with us because we were trying to figure out what to order since we’d never been to any Jollibee before. Then, after we ordered, she said it’s a near 20 minute wait because of the chicken — we had no issue with that. She gave us our drinks first and, because I sat there and waited 20 minutes for my food, I drank my pineapple drink as I waited. When our food was ready, I asked her if I could have a refill — even if I had to pay for it. But what did Daniela do? She answered “NO” in the most disrespectful, rudest tone possible. Instead of saying, “my apologies, but we don’t offer free refills on our pineapple drinks” or something of that nature, she completely shut down my request for a refill even after I had to wait 20 minutes for my order. There was a large party of 6 (I believe it was 6, could’ve been 7) who waited for their order plus sat in and dined and they weren’t given that treatment of “you’re going to order for takeout I reckon” or a rude “NO.” I walked into this location with the utmost respect but couldn’t receive that from Daniela in return. I was highly disappointed with my first time in Jollibee. I will never visit that location ever again for as long as Daniela is working there. Her attitude and disrespect left a bad taste in my mouth as I ate my meal. I had waited YEARS to finally be able to try Jollibee and this trip was...
Read moreFirst time at Jollibee and let me tell you I was let down. I think this place is overhyped. First let’s talk about the food. The spicy chicken was good 8.5 but at this point I feel that even churches chicken is a lot better so I gave their chicken a 8.5 out of 10. Their spaghetti is very much on the sweet side. That’s not what the spaghetti supposed to be like yes I understand. This is a different cultured food unlike an American spaghetti, but I will give them a 5 on the spaghetti. I also tried their Palabok and that I don’t have nothing to compare to since I’ve never tried this dish and I know it’s a very traditional Filipino dish and I will rate this one at 7.5. It was not bad but it wasn’t the greatest thing neither I also try their adobo rice and I will give that a seven they’re spicy sandwich was good. I think that’s the one thing that I actually enjoyed a little bit better and I will give that one and eight , their gravy is delicious, but most gravy are . Then their french fries were very bland with no seasoning very basic , moving forward….now the area inside was clean, but there was a couple of tables that were full of employees probably 8 to 10 employees were sitting so it gave less room for guest to sit. they were giving you the cup with ice because their fountain drink machine was not producing ice and their fountain drinks were hot. All of their drinks were hot so when I got my cup with ice from the employee and I went to the fountain drink to put some Pepsi. It came out hot. It was dispensed hot, which made my ice melt, which made my drink very watery down with no ice so the whole fountain drink machine did not work so I basically had tap water to drink. It was nasty. It made my whole first experience not a great one. I had to ask one of the managers for more ice in my cup and just water which was tapwater. overall my full experience I would rate this place a 7.5out of 10 I will not be coming back at least not to this location. I will probably give the food another chance and hope...
Read moreJolibee was a new experience for me. This chain is predominantly a southern states only fried chicken restaurant. That being said, I visited the location at 1016 Preston Rd., Plano Texas. Service was good but based on the length of the line of customers, a second cashier could have been beneficial in keeping the line moving. The quality of the food was pretty good as well. I ordered 3 piece combo meal spicy with a drink and a peach mango pie for dessert. I received 2 thighs and 1 leg in my meal. The pieces were large and quite meaty. Surprising considering what other chains have been serving lately. The chicken was hot and fresh. It was marinated in what I am guessing is a traditional buffalo sauce as the chicken had a classic buffalo chicken flavor. An extra side of gravy was provided at no extra charge. That was a nice touch. My 2 sides were mashed potatoes and gravy along with a side of mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes and gravy were creamy, and the gravy was flavorful. The mac and cheese was average, nothing to get super excited about. My dessert was a little disappointing though. It was supposed to be peach mango pie. You would expect to have chunks of fruit. That was not to be. It was more of a puree, and a bland, almost watered down puree. The one thing that may bring me back for a second try is the fact that this restaurant sells more than just chicken. You can get burgers and pasta as well, which I did not sample on this visit. The restaurant itself was overall clean and simple. The one disappointment was that they kept condiments and napkins behind the counter and when asked for them, was given the absolute bare minimum. Overall the experience was good. Is it the best fried chicken in the game? No, but it is in my top 5. Overall I rate Jolibee a 4.1...
