I've frequented several Little Caesers locations across DFW, and beyond. They have a lunch combo available from 11am-2pm weekdays, which includes a personal-sized deep! deep! dish pizza and a 20oz Pepsi product for just $5. A really good deal by any standards. At least it is when you can walk in, order, tyen grab-n-go. That's been my experience EVERY SINGLE TIME, until today at this location.
Every chain restaurant take-out place has its own marketing tactic to get people in their doors. Little Caesers is it's "Hot 'n Ready" take-out cheese or pepperoni pizza's. Its a novel idea and a great perk for it' s customers who are in a hurry, and the lunch combo is under the "Hot 'n Ready" part of it's menu.
I walked in about 1:05 p.m. and noticed there was one pizza in the entire "Hot' n Ready" warmer, it was a full-sized pizza, and there were also two crazy breads in there. That's it.
I asked the counter worker for two (2) lunch combo's and she rang me up, I paid, then she said "It'll be 10 minutes, we just sold our last one and there aren't any made." Well, I'd already paid, so of course i said "okay."
I then noticed a sign that instructed customers to order, then leave the store to "wait outside or in your car for your pizza to be be prepared." In the times of Covid, I understand the concept, but it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Afterall, I already felt like I shouldn't have to wait, and they should have been better at their job of keeping lunch pizzas made and ready to sell during its promotional lunch hours. If they sold out, clearly they had been busy, so keep them suckers in the oven.
Overall, it just wasn't the pleasant experience I usually have at Little Caesers. The counter worker was polite, but very matter-of-fact when telling me about the 10-minute wait. I get it, she is young and all, so she gets a pass in her delivery and tone, that's just yo8mg people in general today, but it shouldn't have happened. Bottomline, I should not have had to wait for my lunch combo.
The pizza was nice and hot and I enjoyed my Pepsi, I just didn't think it would take my whole 30-minute lunch break to go there and get back to work. Sadly, I had to eat while driving back to work, and that was quite challenging, but I did it.
The co-worker i purchased the other lunch combo for thoroughly enjoyed his delivered (by me) lunch immensely.
So all's well that ends...
Read moreI walked in. And there were a couple people in front of me the counter employee had her hands ALL OVER her face and hair and just kept mumbling oh my God. Over and over she then got the manager and pointed out a young man that had an issue and said " what was it again " when the cu re explained his issue. The manager offered no apology. Only said oh.. yeah shes new. It will be about 10 min. The customer didn't like this answer and he's just like well is that ok. The customer walked out. Then both employees walked to the back. The manager came back out and the customer had to flag his attention. The counter employee then came back out. Hands still all over her face and mouth and hair. And saw me. Didn't ask how she could help just looked at me..I nicely said hi I just want a "hot and ready " cheese pizza: shes abruptly said.. that's gonna be 10 minutes. I said for a "hot and ready pizza" which has been ur motto since like 2000. No apology to explanations. Just a rude "yeah" i walked out. Not because I don't understand...busy. or new employees. But because neither of them had thr Slightest customer service. And the hiegene issue of her having her hands all over her face for the ENTIRE time I was in the store. I won't be back... I've had disappointing experiences before but I hope the owner knows they may need to spend a little time...

I called as well but no one answers but I had no issue ordering online very quick and easy. I ask the manager why aren’t they answering the phone she politely explain that the store down the road had been close for pretty much a month because lack of employees so when that store closed all the business went to this one. She did say she welcomed the business but they themselves are short on staff as well, which means they were working 4 people instead of 10 people to run the store efficiently. It’s bad every where not just here many stores are low staff so cut some slack and enjoy...
