Edit: 3/11/23 THREATENED WITH POLICE FOR ASKING FOR A REFUND I used to like this McDonald's because they very rarely made mistakes on my order. Last night (3/10/23) one of their employees threatened to call the police on us for requesting a refund. We had bought a chicken sandwich at 10:38. They originally entered it as a spicy chicken, but we told the young man taking the order that was wrong and he corrected it on the screen and receipt. Later my wife bites into it and it's the spicy chicken, which she can't eat. We went to Whataburger to get her some chicken strips, then she went back to the McDonald's to ask for a refund on the sandwich. The woman who was working told her she couldn't have a refund because we bought it before her shift. My wife says that was just twenty minutes ago and she just wanted a refund for the sandwich. The worker rudely told her she needed to come back tomorrow when the manager was there. My wife asked for the managers name and contact info, and she was refused. She told her she should be able to correct the mistake, and the worker told her what she could do is call the police and talk to them about it. My wife then asked for her name, and the employee refused to give it to her.
I used to go to this McDonald's regularly and had previously given them 5 stars. I'll never go again to a place that threatens their customers.

Read moreI was told to park in Reserved Spot 1 for my mobile order. I got my order.. the guy didn't say anything, just handed it to me and walked off like he was mad and only then did I realize I wasn't given my drink with my meal. So I went back in line to wait to get to the drive-thru speaker and when I did.. I explained what happened and the guy in a angry voice said "Pull up to the 2nd window" - I asked do I really have to wait for all the cars in front of me for my drink? It's a lot of cars.. and if I could just go back to the Reserved Spot 1 which is where I just was when I got my food. He didn't answer and just said "Pull up to the 2nd window" angrily.. I asked again cause my food was getting cold.. Then a lady came on and said "No ma'am you can't pass everyone up, wait in line." This really upset me because I am not a ma'am. I'm male. But I don't know if she understood that I was already there and just didn't receive my drink cause THEY forgot it. So I just waited in line.. 10:14pm to 10:35pm.. I spoke to the overnight manager and she didn't seem to care. I think she's the one who called me ma'am in the first place.. I went home crying because of the rudeness and being called ma'am. Terrible night and unprofessional,...
Read moreOne of the major drawbacks of any McDonalds across America is that it hires people frequently who do not know English. And this great McDonalds located on coit rd in Plano is no exception. On the night of snow storm I happened to be there feeling overjoyed that at least some food place was open. The only woman working inside who had trouble communicating in English gave me an answer in NO for about 6 different items I asked for. Hard to believe that this company can ever run out of French Fries, an item for which they are most popular. Mr. Manager, you should have closed down and sent your employee home for that night. You made no money that night for your company anyways and instead paid her a wage for nothing. When couple other cars also left the drive through window without food, following were my conclusions: either the woman did not know English or she just did not wanna work that night (after all who cares during the snow storm) or the poor McDonalds had no food in there. Either way, it was a joke to be open...
