Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Plano

Cane's his ruined every other fried chicken fast food restaurants for me even though they don't sell mashed potatoes.. In fact, they have a very simplified menu which, in my opinion, means they can focus on making those few items well instead of 50 items that are less than mediocre.

The chicken is ALWAYS hot (fresh), and the toast I like so much we always add an extra to our order. If you're into coleslaw, you're in luck because that and fries are the sides. I can't speak for the slaw but the fries are super good. They are the larger, crinkle cut type, and while I used to not like those style (totally bc Braums ruined then for me over the years) Cane's has turned me to the dark side. They also have the bomb.com sweet/unsweet iced tea, pretty darn good lemonade, and, of course, regular soft drinks. Oh, they have the good kind of ice, and if you're an ice eater, you know what i mean. They have their own sauce and I can't explain what it tastes like but unless there's something seriously wrong with you you will likely also find it delicious. I was in there for 3 gift cards, I shouldn’t have waited for at least 5 minutes without someone at least saying they’d be with me. I just kept getting stares from employees behind the line At first I thought it was 3 people running the place (which I’d understand the wait a little better) but no, TWO employees were on break during a busy drive thru time. Finally, who appeared to be the manager, said he’d be with us, but from what a lady waiting in line saw, he was pulling the drawer from drive thru. I don’t get why it was pulled, I wouldn’t have done that. I’m a General Manager of a restaurant in Irving, and if my employees were like this, they know they’d be in some deep water. I lost my receipt to do the survey so this is why I’m doing it here. The wait, and unprofessionalism was unacceptable, and I loved this Canes before, I’d sometimes come late nights after work before I got transferred out of Plano. Don’t think I’ll be coming back...

Delicious fresh food & fast service with a smile!

Came here for lunch & I was in and out of drive-thru in about 2 minutes. I ordered the Caniac Meal (6 Tenders, Fries, Cole Slaw & Fresh Squeezed Lemonade). The gentleman at the drive through is always very friendly with a warm genuine smile, always provides great service. Asked if I needed any additional condiments before getting my food, very attentive to detail.

Once I took lunch to work I was extremely pleased that chicken was freshly cooked, delicious & truly made it a perfect lunch for someone in a hurry for a quick snack. Fries were also freshly made & coleslaw was good, dipping sauce for chicken is delicious & fresh squeezed lemonade here is always great.
