Once upon a time, when we ordered Domino's, our delivery came from the Highland store. They've apparently changed their boundaries and all deliveries to our address now come out of the Pleasant Grove store. I wish there was a way to change it back to what once was.
Since being forced to utilize the PG store, we have had nothing but problems. Despite giving very detailed instructions to get to our address, the delivery drivers can NEVER find our house. It's not like we're in the middle of a new subdivision. We live off the main road.....the house has been here for over 30 years!! We have been notified by the pizza tracker that our pizza was delivered, when in fact it went back to the store because the driver couldn't find the house. It only went back out for delivery after I called to question why 20 minutes had gone by since being notified that my order was delivered. We received our order that night, cold, well over an hour after it left the oven that night. If I am ordering pizza it is because I do not have the energy to cook supper.....yet, every time I order, I find myself walking up the hill to the road to stand on the side of the street, or go to the neighbors house, to get my pizza. As if that's not enough, apparently when we finally get our order, it's not possible to get what we order anymore. It's not a difficult order.....a build your own medium pizza with chicken, cheese, ranch, and Buffalo sauce. Meanwhile..... the past three times we have ordered, there's no buffalo sauce. Photo of what we received included.
While I understand, it makes more sense to just not order pizza anymore, sometimes we just need a break. Unfortunately, due to allergy restrictions, it is better to order from here than to chance an allergic reaction from another restaurant. I have had problems with this Domino's for years and have refrained from posting a review until now, but quite frankly I've had enough. Do better...
Read moreThis dominos is pretty decent. The pizza is good, it is the quality you can expect out of a dominos pizza chain, but I would rank this dominos lower than other dominos I’ve been to.
My main two complaints for this specific dominos:
First, the toppings are usually slopped together onto one slice (wether it is the sausage, onions or jalapeños, the toppings are never distributed evenly). So either you take the time to manhandle the food and distribute the toppings or you just let it be and get one monster slice.
Second this chain takes forever making their pizza. To be fair this is a busy dominos, but that isn’t excuse for having pizzas be consistently 1-2 hours late, which has happened to me on several occasions.
On My most recent experience I order my food around 6:30 and was told the pizza would be ready for pickup by 8, which wasn’t a problem because I figured they were really busy that Wednesday night. I arrived in the parking lot at 8 pm and waited until 9:30 to receive my pizza. Now this is a good example of a bad case of lack of communication. I don’t think the situation would have been so bad if they would have just called me to tell me 1. Your pizza is taking longer than expected here is the possible wait time. Or 2. Offered me a refund so I could at least go somewhere else to eat.
When I’m next in the mood for dominos I think I’ll just go a bit further to get my fix.
PS. I do hope things improve...
Read moreHere's what happened. I placed an online order with a 20% off coupon on a $12 and $14 dollar specialty pizzas. Order placed at 6:52pm. Online window for pickup was 7:37-7:47, which seemed long but I was like "whatever". Total came out to $29 which seemed off because the coupon was supposedly 20% off (I looked to see if the 12 and 14 were post-coupon, but couldn't find evidence... its possible though), and there was a banner stating it was applied... but I'm thinking "26 plus tax is about 29, so I'll just figure it out at the store". . . . I look before I leave to see if the pickup time is the same, and it is. I show up at 7:46, and they at that point tell me I need to wait 20-25 more minutes!! The girl at the register (though perhaps new, so benefit of the doubt at first) had no idea what she was doing. I'm like ok... coulda pushed back the time online before I left! I come back in at 8:07 and it still needs a few min. Whatever... then I go to pay and ask about the coupon... "oh its already been applied. Specialty is more expensive." . . . Really? I know how much the pizzas cost ya dummy. I paid it! Haha... she brings a coworker over who glances at the screen and goes "yep, coupon is activated you're good yo go"... I didn't feel like pushing it so just left. Hope it tastes good, I thought. . . . One is burned and the other isn't cooked all the way through hahaha... smh....
