Hadn't had Mo' Bettahs in awhile, and decided to stop on our way home after a long day of traveling. This location does not have a drive through, but was not busy and I was able to walk right in and order our food to go. It was a Monday afternoon, so it may be busy other days. My husband and I both got regular plates. I got the teriyaki chicken and Kalua pork. He got the teriyaki chicken and steak. We don't come here often because it is quite expensive. The two plates cost $33. However I will say they really load them up, I was unable to finish my plate and wished I got the mini. The chicken was very fatty and I had a few chunks I was unable to finish as I can't handle the texture of fat. They also really skimped on the teriyaki sauce. The pork was good and I had no issues with it. I love their rice, it's just white rice but something about the texture/stickiness of it just makes it taste better. The Mac Salad was okay. Nothing to write home about and all I could really taste was mayo, it didn't have a lot of flavor and seemed like it needed mixed more thoroughly. I ordered to go and wasn't given any utensils, but I also did not look to see if they were near the drinks or anything, so that could have been my fault.

I came back to this store to give it another try after having such a bad experience last time. Have to say today was no better. My meat is not cooked all the way and a lot of fat. I will not be back after this. To pay $13 for fatty meat is a rip off. Terrible service in this store today. I came in and waited in line like most everyone else but today after making my plate and I went to pay, they were waiting on other people who were just walking up to the register and helping them! A guy at the register needed a new plate made so we waited for that and all of a sudden this door dash girl came crashing through the line and they waited on her!!!!!! Totally wrong when you’ve got people in line. Why didn’t that person have to wait her turn just like the rest of us???? Very poor customer service when door dash comes first. And the manager didn’t even know what to say. So not having time to go somewhere else, I got to go back in and buy my now cold plate that had been sitting there all this time. Thanks so much.

I can’t imagine it getting “mo bettah” than this lol! I was visiting the area and thought that Hawaiian food seemed interesting. I have no regrets! This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I placed an order online for pickup. My order was ready when I arrived. Although I couldn’t help but notice the lovely sound and smell of meat grilling. At that moment, I knew I’d be in for a treat. I got the mini plate with Teriyaki Chicken and Teriyaki Steak. The chicken was delicious! The steak had good flavor but wasn’t as tender as I hoped. It came with Macaroni Salad and Rice. They were nice accompaniments to the meat. I also got an order of the Kalua Pig which was so tender and yummy! Lastly, I can’t say I’ve had Hawaiian food unless I’ve had the spam. The Spam Musubi was decent. I usually love seaweed but I wasn’t a fan of the seaweed wrapping. I’m definitely adding Mo’ Bettahs to my list and can’t wait for another opportunity to eat here.

My wife left me because of this Mo' Bettas. Back in the old days of 23 I was sitting at work and of course, as everybody does, I was mad craving Mo' Bettas. I guess when I'm fiending for some Katsu Chicken; I have a crazed look in my eye, because my boss looked over to me and exclaimed "You better not leave for lunch yet! It's only 10:31 AM! If you leave you're no cap fired!" So as any sane person would, I sacrificed financial stability for some Kalua Pork. When I got to God's gift to mankind; my senses were tingling. So soon would I be indulging in some frickin Mac Salad. I ordered my usual. God's servant loaded my tray up with some lettuce, Mac Salad, and rice. He then put an awesome portion of Kalua Pork. But the he frowned. Why did he have to frown..? He looked at me, then the plate. He then took half of my savory pork and put it back into the heating tray. I was mortified. My mental shattered. I was utterly destroyed. But I only smiled. He cut me up some Katsu Chicken, checked me out, and sent me on my way. I drove home, white knuckling the steering wheel. Teeth clenched. Seething. When I got home I kicked my cat out of the way so I could finally sit down and monch. It was immaculate, but I couldn't help but crying when I ate my 2 bites of Kalua Pork. Later that day my wife got home and asked me how my day was. I looked at her, and right then I relived the horrors that had occured previously that day. I snapped. I saw red. I don't know what happened that day but I haven't seen my wife since... Mo' Bettas ruined my life. But I still return. Every....

[Updated 3/5 stars] After some time since my original review and having not returned since my last update despite having many opportunities to do so, I think my updated review was probably overly optimistic. I really loved their food, but I know the portions to price just won't cut it for me anymore. This is why I'm reducing my review by 1 star.

[Updated 4/5 stars] Having had the chance to communicate with a representative from Mo' Bettahs, I have been assured that portion sizes have never been reduced making my experience non-typical. Along with this, the pricing changes were necessary in part from COVID-19.

This is not unusual as many companies are having to make adjustments in response to the pandemic. For me personally, it will take some time before I can justify the pricing change. For many, it may not be an issue.

[Original Review 2/5 stars] I used to regularly eat here, but lately it seems like the portions are getting smaller and the prices keep getting higher - and to make matters worse, today my Katsu was cold and they either are reducing the size of the pieces or they just chose the smallest ones, because my portion today could have easily been a single piece months ago.

In addition, I loathe the nickel and diming. You want Katsu? That's extra. You want a side salad instead of mac salad? That's extra. You want a second sauce cup (because 1 isn't enough...)? That's extra.

I miss the days of a 4-peice katsu plate being 11 and change, when the amounts were gracious and you could get as much of the sauce as you needed without...

I normally love mobettahs, I haven’t been for a while and so I decided to go tonight, I was very disappointed and frankly angry with how it went. I placed a mobile order of a plate and 2 spam Musubi, we arrived a couple minutes before our food was estimated to be done and went to the counter to tell them we were here to pick it up, they said it would be ready soon. 15 minutes after we arrived (10 after estimated time) I went to check on the order and again they said it would be a few minutes. I waited 10 more minutes and went up and asked again, they told me again just another few minutes. Shortly after they came and handed me the plate, my boyfriend took it out to wait in the car as they said the spam would be out in 5 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes before my musubi came out and just like the first time they didn’t give me a bag or silverware or the sauces that I paid for. I sat for 40 minutes in store watching your staff make everyone else’s food, when I know mine was placed first and I was in the store before most people they were serving. I have worked fast food many times and this is absolutely ridiculous. I left very frustrated, and when I arrived home my order was wrong. A protein was incorrect and a side was incorrect, on top of this the meats were dry. I am incredibly disappointed and upset with my visit today and if I come again it will not be to...
