  • I had to update, and I’m sorry to do this, but c’mon guys….you jumped your prices by 50%.in the last two weeks. The Al pastor bowl was $8.60, now it’s $12.60. Bean and cheese burrito was $5 and change, now it’s over $8…. For a bean and cheese?? These are corporate Chipotle prices now. I get that prices go up, but this was a really bad business move. I’m hoping an investor didn’t come in and cause this. I’m leaving my original review below on your food and service because they are amazing, but your prices now are not worth it, unfortunately. Very disappointing. **

I’ve eaten at numerous Rancheritos but this one is our favorite, hands down. Edgar, at the front counter, will always greet you with a smile and recommendations. The food is super fresh, the refried beans are the best anywhere, and prices are very reasonable. We moved here from So Cal and are super picky about fast casual Mexican places…. Until this, We hadn’t found one in Utah we really liked and we’ve been here 8 years. This ranks up there with our favorite spots in So Cal. I recommend anything with their Al Pastor…. It is the best. I particularly like the Al pastor bowl and get a side of corn tortillas to make mini tacos with. My wife and her sister like their beef tacos and bean and cheese burritos. Get a side of their refried beans to take home….. nothing beats them. We eat here at least once a week if not...

I never leave bad reviews, but this experience was disturbing. I came in with my niece and ordered two big burritos. When I used a small water cup (about 14 oz) to take a modest amount of sauce — instead of using 5–6 of their small plastic cups — I was aggressively approached by a staff member who raised her voice at me from the get go. When I tried to explain, she shouted “I don’t care,” proceeded to go on for another minute or so and another staff member backed her up. I ended up crying in their lobby from being so shaken.

Even though I had clearly not taken too much sauce, the staff tried to charge me $4.49 or take it back (which they did — probably to throw away). There was no sign stating any policy. What’s worse is I’ve seen plenty of people take more without a problem — but they’re usually men. I believe I was profiled for looking like a “rich girl” or just because I was polite, petite, and vulnerable.

Staff mocked us afterward and dodged my brother’s calls and even hung up on him rand only when he tried to follow up. No compassion. No accountability. Just humiliation.

This wasn’t about sauce — it was about how some people in power treat those they think they can walk over. I’ll...

HORRIBLE FOOD! My husbands Al Pastor was burned SO bad, that it looked as if they scrapped the grill and put all of the charred remanences in the burrito. Then my steak nachos were beyond cold (we dined in mind you and it took a good 5 minutes for our food to come out). The steak was super chewy (and of course cold), the guacamole was super watery, the chips tasted like pure grease, and even the cheese didn’t taste right. I maybe ate 10 chips (probably not even that) trying not to waste food and since we spent $30 for two crappy meals. My husband couldn’t even eat half of his burrito either. We were trying our hardest to choke it down. I am praying we don’t get sick from it.

We used to love coming to this location, but the last 2 times (especially this time) has been horrible. The employees are always so nice though and inside the restaurant is always really clean. But we definitely won’t be...

Best fast-food mexican food place in all of Utah. Much better than the other Rancheritos franchises. All their food items are much bigger servings than comparable places. The carne asada fries are to die for, and never any fat in it like many places. They are $12.99 but they literally can last for 4 meals. It is a family owned business and the service is amazing. They work very hard to please. Nice big seating area, salsa bar with four different salsas, and with hot carrots and jalapenos. I go there at least once a week when I come up from Arizona. I wished we had one of these in the Phoenix area. The photo is how much of my carne asada fries I took home after eating my fill in the restaurant, still over 2.5 pounds of food.

Decent food, good prices, overall totally fine. Not spicy, at all, so for those that can't take much heat, this is perfect for that. They have sauces to increase the heat though. My only real complaint is the same one I have with several places, that is to TURN DOWN THE MUSIC!!! Seriously, it's hard to hold a conversation. I go there to eat and converse. It's not a concert venue. Buffalo Wild Wings does this and I refuse to take clients there. It's ridiculous. Please, turn it down. It's supposed to be background music, not blasting in your face and having to ask; "What did you say?!!??!! I can't hear you over the trumpets!" 👍

We continue to dine here because of the great quality of food. Their fish tacos say Tilapia but it's actually Alaskan Pollock. Why? This particular restaurant is part of a franchise, and they're required to advertise Tilapia because the majority of the restaurants within the franchise serve Tilapia. Because this restaurant is family-owned and they're able to add their own twist they chose to serve Alaskan Pollock. Five stars for sure! And the portions are always great! The store is always immaculately clean and the staff is always so friendly. See photo of my fish tacos, my wife's dish and a side of delicious refried beans!
