Review of Juniper Grill - Pleasant Hills

I recently took my family to Juniper Grill in Pleasant Hills, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. From the moment we walked in, the experience was far from welcoming. The hosts, two young grade school girls, were notably rude and seemed more concerned about reservations than providing basic courtesy. When we mentioned we didn’t have a reservation, we were curtly informed that it would be a long wait.

The food only made things worse. Out of the five meals we ordered, two had to be sent back because they were burnt beyond acceptable levels. The replacements were barely an improvement, leaving us unimpressed with the kitchen’s quality and care.

On top of all that, the atmosphere was overwhelming. The noise level was so high that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation. Instead of a pleasant family outing, the entire evening felt like a nightmare.

Needless to say, this was a one-and-done experience for us. Juniper Grill - Pleasant Hills will not be on our list of places to revisit. Avoid it if you’re looking for good service, decent food, or a relaxing dining...

Placed a dinner order for pickup and got the $20 Santa Fe bowl, + salmon added on (for more $$). The overall portion size was pitiful, to be frank. Barely any grain/quinoa at all. So just beware if ordering for pick-up, either just - don’t. Or, be sure to check your meal before you leave.

I have also tried to reach out about this issue using multiple channels to see if they could give assurance of making it right/not happening for others. Haven’t heard any response, so sharing here as a caution for anyone ordering take-out!

First time eating here since they opened. Our server Jenni was beyond great! From explaining the entire menu, to helping us with packaging our left overs to go. Most importantly she was so helpful! My daughter came with us , who is autistic with many food aversions, Jenni offered so many different options and ideas when she saw my daughter wouldn't touch the food she ordered. We explained to her we were used to it and we thanked her for being so kind and caring towards our daughter. We highly recommend...
