I have gone here twice. I have been going to other franchises for years, and I really enjoy their hoagies. The first time I went, the meat was not even and not enough oil for me. Too dry of a hoagie. The second time I went, I asked for extra oil. The meat was even, but again, the hoagie is still to dry even when asking for extra oil. I still recommend them and will go back because their hoagies are delicious.

My wife loved the Pescara it was great and the Meatball Hoagie w/ sauce and provolone was very delicious "Bomb" it was for my grandson but I stole a bite and I had the #1 Italian Hoagie it was very good as well , I will try the Schwartzie next. Only thing they didn't tell me there were coupons inside the menu. So I will be asking for the $3 difference on my next order .

Really solid food from a new chain in the area! Featuring a service similar to Jersey Mike's, they offer more options, more ingredients, and come out at a similar price. My supremo and whacked chicken were delicious. And there's plenty more I want to try. Not to mention they had ready order drinks, cheeses, cookies, and more? Lots of options for a great, quick snack.

Employees were friendly and cared, although understaffed. Waited 50 minutes for a small Sharp Italian and a huge Old World Meatball. Nothing else. Went to grab it at pick up station after waiting a horrendous amount of time at lunchtime (again, 50+ minutes before my meatball was ready) and my small Italian wasn’t there and given to somebody else. Took another 5+ minutes and staff asking 3 more times my name and what it was. When I opened the paper to eat it when I got to my destination and being late back from lunch for the others I got the huge meatball sandwich for, it looked like it came from the garbage the way the Italian was thrown together and was the smallest thing I’ve ever seen. Definitely not the size and quality I’m used to after eating at Primos for decades. I’m very disappointed. I’m from South Jersey and this has been my favorite hoagie shop when it was mom and pop owned for decades. I won’t be back to this location again. I’ve ordered sandwich trays multiple times from the McMurray and Smallman St street stores and they have been prompt and great every time. I paid over $40 for 2 sandwiches yesterday plus tipping on top of that and no care was taken with my order yesterday. 1 hour to make sandwiches at lunch is absurd. Who has that kind of time? What a rip off. You can’t charge these kind of prices for subpar food, outrageously long food prep wait times, and slow untrained staff with no urgency and no management. The owner should be ashamed. You’re ripping hardworking paying...

I am somewhat new to the area and have been in this location twice. Yes it is more expensive than Subway but there is no comparison. I think if you are willing to spend the extra dollars you’ll be happy here. I know what $10 buys me at Subway. And they’ve been going downhill for years. I’d rather spend the extra money at Primo’s or just do without! The quality is much higher and ingredients seem a lot fresher. IMO. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on menu. I usually skip the cheese but not here. Anything with turkey is lower in calories so I’ve only had that so far. A lot of women could probably get two meals out of the primo size sandwich if you get a small side. Their potato salad is different but very good. They were out of rice pudding today so they substituted dirty pudding. While I don’t need the extra sugar, it is very good! Store seems very clean as well. The saying ‘You get what you pay for’...

It looks like I should give Primo a solid 4 stars, so why the 2 star rating? It's simply the price. 3 "Primo" sized hoagies, no drinks, no extras were $42.77 + $3 tax making it a darn near $46 "meal" the primo size is 9" length, however it's very skinny and one person could easily eat 2. A "Whole" is listed as 22-24" however as with the 6 and 9 inch versions it's very misleading as the buns are very skinny. A typical local hoagie shop's 12" hoagie is probably larger than the Primo whole. Taste is decent, simply not worth the price. I'd say it's worth half the price. Fact is I'm happier with Red Robin Tavern Double with Unlimited...
