We had an early dinner at Plus Saporis. We were definitely excited to try Chef Aman's new restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The space and the decor is really cool, but comfortable, lots of natural light. We started with the Grilled Octopus and the Arancini Pomodoro (lightly fried rice ball, with a little marinara) both were AWESOME!!! Seasoned perfectly, savory and delicious. For main dish I had the Nduja Tagliatelle with Burrata, It's a pasta dish in a delicious red sauce with spicey sausage in it. The creaminess of the burrata cheese mixes with the savory/spicey of the red sauce and makes a wonderful dish. It does have a little bit of spicey heat though. My wife had the Bata Mahshi (duck breast stuffed with apple and brie) this is now my favorite duck dish! It is served on a bed of rice that was seasoned so deliciously, that it could stand as a dish of its own. For dessert we split the mango flan. I've never been a big fan of mangos, or flan, but this was very very tasty and I would definitely order it again. This is a great new restaurant. You could really tell that the staff have a passion for hospitality. The menu has so many wonderful and deliciously inventive selections it will take us a long time to run out of new things we want to try.

Such a great restaurant. I went with a large group and was able to try a variety of dishes. The drinks were amazing and unique! The appetizers, mains, and desserts were all really good. I could really tell that a lot of work and care went into creating the look of each dish and the flavors & elements. My favorite was the steak with fries. Easily the best fries I've ever had. I love fries and have had a LOT of fries from everywhere. The steak was perfectly cooked. I tried the beef skewers and with the rice which was also amazing! The octopus is definitely worth ordering. The blueberry ice cream, tres leches, and baklava were all amazing. They weren't too sweet, but we're flavorful and satisfying. I'd say it was a fairly large dessert portion (I don't think I've ever seen such a large baklava). The service was friendly, attentive, and they answered any questions I had. I live in a large city where good service and good food are hard to get at the same time, so this was definitely the best! If you have a friend group with varied food preferences, I'm pretty sure they'll find something here that they'll like. Straightforward menu, but with good variety (I forgot to take a picture of it).

The QC needed a Mediterranean restaurant and this spot did not disappoint! Delicious first meal at Plus Saporis and can’t wait to return! We enjoyed wine and the grapefruit cocktail which was great! We were served some Parker house style rolls with olive oil with our beverages. The crab ceviche appetizer was 5 stars and I will order it again. We tried a dip and the puff pastry was fun and all the cut veggies were fresh and crunchy. My husband loved the Dover sol with asparagus and the potato cube - it was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I absolutely loved the kofta kabob and would order it again and again. It came with pickled onions, pita, tzakiki and rice! WOW! We were too full for dessert but I will try it when we return because the options sounded fantastic! Service was good too. Only thing that needs improvement in this experience is some window treatments as the sun shone in our eyes most of the meal and many of the diners around us were eating in sunglasses inside! Can’t wait to return and try more menu items and drinks!

Good food but bad service. Took nearly two hours to get our food, about an hour and half to get the appetizer. They were out of numerous menu items.

They made a drink for a member of our group and returned saying they couldn’t make another one if we wanted because they ran out of flavoring. The drink tasted terrible and it was sent back after staff admitted that they ran out of flavoring while making the first drink. Then the manager was audibly cursing while talking badly about our table for sending it back, all within earshot of our table and other customers.

The appetizer we received was literally five small pieces of food and we had specified it was for the table. It could have been told to us that it was not going to satisfy a table, especially for nearly $15. And it came with the incorrect dipping sauce as advertised by the waiter.

We informed the staff after waiting for quite a while that we had another obligation afterwards and that we needed our food sooner than later. We were told that “when we get busy there can be extended wait times.” There was 6 tables total all with three people or less, and the restaurant had probably 20 other table.

The food was brought, we finished and were attempting to pay. We were given our checks. The waiter had promised to come get our checks so that we could get along. Instead, while we waited to return our checks, the waiter walked around and talked with numerous other tables and went back and forth to the kitchen. Because of this, we missed our reservations at another location and had to cancel the rest of our plans for the night.

Good food...

There will be a Chef that reads this review that goes “oh this idiot just doesn’t understand fine dining.” As someone who was in the restaurant industry for 13 years, worked everything from dish to GM, fine dining and fast casual. I can promise you there is never a reason for a TWO HOUR ticket time. I would love to tell you the food at least was good but at 2 hours we finally walked out. (It was busy when we came in but by the time we walked out I would say maybe 1/3 of the place was filled. They told us it was because they were busy but again I would just like to say. Busy. 1 hour. Cool. Two hours? A bit much don’t you think?) The manager was genuinely a kind guy. It honestly broke my heart a little bit that he has to deal with what I am assuming is a large amount of complaints. As I said I am not complaining on the service as I know it was not their fault. The fault is on the kitchen. Unfortunately I think the menu is a bit too complex for their reach. I understand a lot may be made from scratch and I respect and appreciate that. However that is no excuse for a 2 hour wait. If you cannot navigate through your menu with speed and precision you might want to consider simplifying as I cannot imagine many people are willing to wait 2 hours for a meal. I do not hope this place closes. I have heard great things! I hope this place makes some much needed changes to...

My husband and I were excited to try this new sister restaurant to Hemispheres! On a whim, we decided to give it a try and are so glad we did! I kid you not, this may have been the best meal I have had in my entire life! Please note that this place is NICE, so think date night, not really a place for kids.

Th menu is a bit intimidating. I had to google some things so I knew what I was ordering. I started off with their espresso cocktail and oh my goodness, perfection!! It was perfectly sweet and creamy with the right amount of delicious coffee flavor. My husband ordered a margarita and that was also delicious! Clearly, the lime juice for that was fresh squeezed as we could see the pulp. It doesn’t get any fresher!

We ordered the saganaki appetizer, you know, the flaming cheese. So so good!! The pita bread that it came with was tender and crispy and delicious.

I ordered the Paccio, and I don’t know how I could ever order anything else. The focaccia was perfection, flavors amazing! It came with truffle fries, heavily seasoned and so so good. There was so much food, it could have been 3 meals for me!

My husband got the Bistecca. That steak was so tender, it melted in the mouth. The creamy goodness of the potatoes the steak sat on was mouthwatering.

Eat here. Enjoy. We can’t...
