The food was average. I ordered through doordash and it was Luke warm by the time it arrived. I ordered the Taco Plate, the beans and rice was good. The chicken meat wasn’t grilled, it was just like boiled chicken, the carne asada had to have been grilled, but didn’t have that flavor. There wasn’t any Mexican taco seasoning on the meat. I ordered for 3 people, yet they only gave us 2 bags of chips, like they assumed that our 3rd person didn’t eat chips. I’m grateful for the food and their efforts. I would probably try dinning inside the restaurant one day (ambiance looks cool inside) but I wouldn’t order via doordash again, not unless I wanted to try the...
Read moreLittle hole in the wall place off Main St. in P-Town. Ate an early lunch there. Arrived there just as they opened/10am. Ordered the reasonably priced "super taco"/$5.72 w/grilled chicken and a soft drink/DC can. W/cash discount it came out to $7.92. Chicken was tasty but it was a small serving. Heavily seasoned and with sour cream and shredded cheese. Guac mixture was a bit watery but it tasted OK. Tortilla seemed fresh (w/out an upcharge). Salsa bar was OK, as it was missing some items/open spaces within the cooler. My food arrived promptly and service was pretty good for being the 1st customer of the day. I'll probably return for a later in the...
Read moreI had a business meeting today in Pleasanton. I came from Santa Cruz and the other person from Sacramento. We met somewhat half way. He mentioned he likes Chiles Rellenos. After looking for restaurants that had Chile’s Rellenos, I chose to meet at Taqueria Don Chepe. The Chile Relleno was covered with a red sauce and was very tasty. The refried beans had a unique taste of their own. The salsa bar has several sauces. I tried two and was not disappointed. The table next to us had tacos. The tacos looked delicious with plenty of meet. Nothing fancy but very clean and friendly personnel. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, give Don...
