Gardenia Palace — Restaurant in Plymouth

We have enjoyed the food and service at Gardenia many times. Last night, however, I attempted to place an order on-line. My card was charged but I received a text from Gardenia saying the order failed. I called the restaurant to speak with someone and was disconnected. I called back and got a message telling me the party was unavailable. I then received a call from Gardenia telling me that my credit card had been refunded. When I checked the card, it had indeed been refunded. So I drove to Gardenia to place my take out order in person. When I returned home with the bag, stapled across the top, I discovered that both entrees were wrong. I had ordered General Gao chicken and tofu pad thai. Instead, I received orange chicken and tofu lomein. In addition, both entrees were not good - too salty and the quality was not up to the usual Gardenia standard. The food was so unpleasant that we did not eat it. Not that I really care, but there was only one fortune cookie in the bag for two entrees. Something is off with Gardenia now, so it is now off our list of acceptable establishments. I wonder if the dishwasher has been...

This was our first time to visit this restaurant. We were the only Chinese costumers in this Sunday night. But the food didn’t disappointed us. We ordered a chicken with mixed vegetables and a Bokchoy with garlic. Both dishes were fresh and tasty. The presentation was very pleasant with fresh orchards. We also ordered a chi-rash, the fish material was fresh, the presentation was pretty too. Overall food amount was good and price was reasonable. The waiter and wetness are nice too. Came in today with a party of 4 for lunch. Upon walking in we felt the atmosphere looked comfortable and clean. We were promptly seated, with accommodating our infants car seat. Service was quick! We placed a big order seeing as tho we wanted to try everything (it's been a while since we've found a decent Chinese food place). Our order came out quick.
