My family and I have been coming to Frankie’s since I was a little kid. Has always been a spot for us when in Point Pleasant. Tonight my girlfriend and I went there from work and had great meals. The waitress we had was so nice and accommodating. We went home and my girlfriend realized she left her purse at Frankie’s so in a panic she called right away. The manager at the time answered the phone and was rude and said “I bussed that table and didn’t see it”. My girlfriend searched her car to make sure it wasn’t there and then called Frankie’s back. This time the hostess answered and said “ yeah someone’s now sitting there so we can look when they leave”. We live about 20 mins away so we jumped in the car and went back to Frankie’s. My girlfriend ran in to go to our table and was stopped by the host and manager saying she couldn’t go look for it until the people at the table left. This manager I believe her name is Patty was so rude to her and made her feel so horrible about the situation and was not accommodating at all. My girlfriend was in tears and just wanted to look for her purse so we could leave. Instead the manager made us wait there and was not nice to us and had not a care that this was a dire situation and huge inconvenience to us. There was another guy that worked there that was dressed in a brown shirt ( not sure if he was a manager) he went over to the table to look for the purse with his phone light but told us it wasn’t there. We waited there for 30-40 mins before the group finally got up. My girlfriend ran over to the table and one of the guys sitting at the table was holding her purse and said “ I heard you were looking for this”. I’m sorry but this was handled so poorly by management and staff and they were not accommodating to my girlfriend who was in shambles because she didn’t know if her purse was stolen or still at the table. The fact that they couldn’t let her go to the table to ask or see if it was there when it was the whole time was so inconvenient and horribly managed. We should of never had to wait there forever to get her purse back. Was such a shitty situation that we don’t know if we ever want to go back and deal with the current management in place. We’re so unbelievably upset that such a fun night at one of our favorite places was ruined by...

Nestled in the heart of Point Pleasant Beach, just a short stroll from the train station, Frankie's Bar & Grill stands as a beloved beacon of warmth, flavor, and old-school charm. Since 1985, it has been more than just a restaurant—it's a local legend, a gathering place where time slows, conversation flows, and every meal feels like home.

The moment you approach, the air is rich with the intoxicating aroma of sizzling burgers on the grill, teasing your senses, setting the stage for the feast ahead. Step inside, and you’re transported to a bygone era—Frankie’s embraces you with its cheerful retro vibe, a place where nostalgia meets the art of indulgence.

And indulgence is precisely what awaits. The menu is a masterclass in elevated comfort food—consistent, thoughtful, and undeniably delicious. The Bavarian pretzel appetizer arrives warm and golden, a perfect prelude to the feast. Their pierogi and kielbasa special could have come straight from a Polish grandmother’s kitchen, every bite rich with tradition and care.

But the undisputed stars of the show? The burgers. Crafted from a perfectly balanced blend of premium meats, grilled to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The Jersey Burger is a revelation—juicy, tender, and crowned with a flawlessly cooked, tangy slice of pork roll that sings in harmony with the beef. Every bite is a testament to why Frankie’s has remained a community staple for decades.

Pair it all with a pint of Guinness, expertly poured, and you have the makings of a perfect meal. Service is equally impeccable—Allie, our waitress, was an absolute gem, exuding warmth, efficiency, and that genuine hospitality that transforms a good night into a great one.

Frankie’s is more than just a bar and grille. It’s a love letter to classic American comfort, a place where flavors are bold, the atmosphere is electric with camaraderie, and every visit feels like a return to something familiar and cherished.

Whether you are a local or visiting this seaside town on vacation—run, don’t walk. This is a place worth savoring, time...

This place is amazing starting off first with the decor, it has a family feel to it, at first when I walked in it reminded me of the TV show cheers, the atmosphere is family friendly there's a huge bar with a grill in the middle which is kinda cool watching them make everything from steaks 🥩 to ribs and burgers. There's lots of TV in there as well to CA ch up on sports while kicking back a few brewski's. The food is really good and the portions are plentyful. The server I had was new and learning his name was John but he did an amazing job, he got everything we ordered right, he was friendly and service was fast. You could tell he was a bit nervous waiting tables but he did really good. There were only 2 waitress that were cold when I asked them for help. I understand it was really busy but that's no way to treat the person who simply was there to have a good time with my little girl and wife. It was the attitude and consent talking over me that leaves me to take away one star. Now I can tell she was having a bad day but that's no excuse to be cold with the customer. I would recommend this place for some family meals or just to have a drink on the bar with friends. This was my fist time here and I really like it a lot. Hope the young waitress that had an attitude problem with me gets some anger management classes cause if you can't handle the heat, stay out of...

This one sucks to say, because the place and atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic. Feels like it’s ripped right out of Cheers. We ordered the Boom Boom chicken wrap and Cheeseburger, they were not good. The burger was greasy and its edges were burnt, the boom boom chicken was acid reflux inducing due to the spices used. The service was nice but, beyond that there is really no redeeming qualities to this bar. Their prices are incredibly high and inconsistent, I’m not sure how a roast beef sandwich dip costs more than penne vodka. This place needs to overhaul its menu as quickly as possible

Had lunch with friends at this fun and busy place. The mini reuben on special was awesome and the kobi cheeseburger was very good. Onion soup was also great but the pastrami sandwich and wedge salad weren't inspired and were a bit disappointing. Had a delicious Uncle Albert (cocoa and peppermint schnapps) presented beautifully in a wine glass for dessert and shared a generous portion of equally delicious Tollhouse pie. Service was adequate. We did not receive an order of French Fries but everything else was fine. We have been here before and will go back again. Hoping it was just an off day.

Frankie’s was and still remains awesome! I moved away from the area and hadn’t been to Frankie’s for 10 pls years. My mom and I stopped by on a Friday night and sat at the bar while we waited for a table to be ready. The bartenders were attentive and fast and it’s cool they have a grill at the bar. Our table was ready faster than quotes and our server was awesome. She gave us recommendations and was extremely attentive. The prices are very fair and the portions are HUGE. Seriously enough for at least 2 meals.
