Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Made reservations for a party of 8 (7 adults and one child) for my wife’s birthday this past Sunday. The reservations were for 5:30pm but the front desk called me to confirm the booking for 7:30pm. We arrived at 5:30pm and sat at the bar before we were seated at 5:45pm. Our appetizers didn’t come out until 7pm, at least an hour after we ordered them. We waited another 45min before our entrees came out, 2hrs after we were seated. We barely saw our sever or were offered any additional bread service or appetizers while we waited. In between courses the manager Eric came to our table and apologized for the long wait time, explaining that one of their chefs was involved in an accident and had not returned to work. While I wish your chef a full recovery, your employee’s injury is not the consumers problem, that is for you as the manager to maintain the level of service. That said, the restaurant was half empty. Our 1yr old daughter was made to wait 2hrs for a plate of chicken fingers and fries while she grew restless. One of our entrees, the filet mignon, was overcooked. We let the manager know and he said he would “take care of us”. We told him that we were there for my wife’s birthday to which he said again that he would “take care of us”. At around 8:15pm our server came out with a frozen piece of cheesecake and a sparkler candle and then walked away. He didn’t take any orders for desert or after dinner drinks. He also didn’t bring out our leftovers. At 8:30pm, 3hrs after we had arrived, I grabbed the attention of our server to get our check. I was appalled that after the terrible dining experience we had the manager only took off the price of the filet mignon. They also added a $99 gratuity which was not indicated anywhere. Tip is not compulsory and was not deserved since we were not provided with an acceptable dining experience. After coming back home my wife became sick and vomited her dinner (the pistachio crusted salmon). I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager Eric. I offered him my list of complaints and told him how furious and embarrassed we were to have invited family and friends to his restaurant to celebrate a birthday. All he could offer was a gift certificate for our next dining experience, to which I told him we would never go back there. I asked for him to speak to the owner about fully compensating our bill to make up for the terrible experience. As of yet I have to hear back from Eric or the owner. I have also sent two messages on their “contact us” webpage, both which have gone unanswered. This restaurant has serious issues with both the front of the house and back of the house staff, and it appears that the management and owner does not take the complaints of their customers seriously. Wouldn’t be surprised if this restaurant closes door once the buzz wears off. Look beyond the ambience of this new restaurant. There are many restaurants in the area with better ambience, food,...

June 9 we had the most incredible dinner at the brand-new Tradewinds Restaurant at the The White Sands Oceanfront Resort & Spa! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by warm, friendly staff, and the décor was so stylish and inviting!
🌟 The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. • The meatball appetizer with ricotta and garlic bread was so good, even our friend — who’s known for his own legendary meatballs — was thoroughly impressed. • The lobster bisque was creamy, silky, and rich. • We asked for sautéed calamari instead of breaded, and they graciously accommodated us — it came out in a delicious sauce and was perfect. • My friend raved that the salmon was the best she’s ever had. • My pork chop with potatoes, hot peppers, and onions was out of this world. • The tuna was perfectly cooked, and the Paccheri chicken dish was to die for.
We were blown away by the generous portions — we were so full we couldn’t even think about dessert (but we’re sure it’s just as amazing).
The ambiance is just as impressive as the food — very Instagrammable, with a chic bar and super comfy chairs. Service was impeccable, our waiter was attentive and friendly and the manager even stopped by a few times to check in — a really nice touch.
Though this was only their soft opening, they absolutely nailed it.
We visited again last week and it was equally as delicious and service...
Read moreUnfortunately we had a terrible experience here Friday night. We took our friends for the first time. We sat at the Group of three tables to the left of the bar. Our Server was very young and inexperienced. We waited for drinks for at least 30 min upon arrival and had to asked to be served and remind her to take our order. We asked for the wine list. She never came back when she came back. She bought the specials list went back got us the wine list and never came back for us to order the bottle of wine. We couldn’t even find her.The hostess came over and we explained the situation and that the SERVER needed help. She was able to get us the bottle of wine. The tables to the right and left of us were in the same situation. The one table 2 people had their food for about 30 minutes and the other two guests across from them never got their food. Our server did not come back to our table until the end of our meal, which was like 45 minutes later. Server was not trained and was not even phased that three of her tables were not being taken care of. At the end, I spoke to the manager to express how disappointed we were with our experience he didn’t seem to be overly concerned with our disappointment. The hostesses that greeted us and helped us were very nice at the Hostess table and apologized more than once to us. This restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is very good, but to pay a decent amount of money for a night out better service is definitely expected. We will...
