Sandbar Snacks — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

What mess trying to order....5 people behind the window and no order to anything. It’s like it’s everyone’s first day. My friend ordered a salad and asked for extra dressing, the lady said it will be .30. She said that’s fine. Two other workers were like what, she wants more dressing, wow that is a lot of dressing and rolled her eyes. Just unprofessional, she bought it and paid for it who cares?! Salad ended up not coming with croutons even though it was advertised. When we asked for croutons she said they come on the salad. Lady there isn’t croutons. Instead of getting the croutons, she proceeds to investigate who made the salads and why wasn’t there croutons. Just give us the croutons!! We finally get the croutons and sit and eat, while having the pleasant experience of listening to the owner go on a rampage about the “nasty ass pigeons”.....um you’re beside the ocean, there will be pigeons.

This place needs a total overhaul when it comes to customer service. Please...

First of all if I could only do half a star I would.... We happened to walk by and needed napkins, so I thought I would ask for one. I stood there for a few minutes as the lady who worked there just continued to look at me and proceed with a call on her personal phone. An older man who I quess was a worker also stood there and just looked at me until the lady called him and said “could you see what she needs” I then asked him if I could please have some napkins, and respond with “if you need napkin you should have got them were you got that” as he pointed at my ice cream. He then went around the counter and got me ONE napkin and said we sell ice cream here next time get it here.... but why would I?!? With that horrible experience for just some napkins. I’m from California and not once have I ever had an issue with getting napkins... both workers were...

I personally love this place. It looks amazing and it’s right in front of the beach, a very relaxing location. The building itself is beautiful and they have tables and chairs to accommodate but they’re only for customers. There are about 5 windows but you can only order from one and pick up from the one next to it. So if it’s your first time and you’re wondering why you haven’t been assisted... you’re probably not at the right window! It’s a bummer no one told me and I figured it out after 10 minutes. But anyways I ordered a Slushie-rita (mango) and it was delicious. The ladies that work here are customer service oriented. Not the best but they get the job done.
