Date night at Taco Station in Pompano Beach was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance—lively yet relaxed—as we sat outside along a charming little strip that leads right up to the beach.

Our server was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. She checked in frequently without being intrusive, offered a spot-on meal recommendation, and was a joy to chat with.

The food? Incredible. Every bite tasted handcrafted with care and packed with flavor. I ordered the birria taco platter, my wife went with the chicken quesadilla, and we shared chips and queso to start. It was all made with a clear passion for quality. I was comfortably full about three-quarters of the way through—but the flavors were too good to leave anything behind.

To top it off, I had a handcrafted mojito that was honestly the best I’ve ever had. It had the perfect balance of fresh mint, lime, and just the right amount of sweetness. You could tell it was made with intention—not just mixed, but crafted.

The homemade sauces truly elevated the meal. The habanero sauce delivered just the right kick with rich depth, while the pineapple jalapeño offered a perfect sweet-heat balance.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jay—a down-to-earth, friendly guy with a strong sense of family and community. He’s built something special with Taco Station: great food, great people, and a fantastic location.

The fiancé and I went here for dinner yesterday and sat outside. We were happy to see a new restaurant to our local area. The service and food were incredible. The owner was super attentive and kind to us and the other guests that arrived. A+ Service. I ordered the angus steak tacos platter which the hubby tried and loved as well. Seasoning is on point! He ordered the ground beef tacos and inhaled it. The house pineapple salsa, avocado crema, and habanero salsa are all flavorful and made the meal extra tasty. The beans were fresh! Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The corn melted in my mouth. I had a pineapple mojito that was refreshing! Not too sweet, just the way it should be. Hubby had a classic margarita out of a pineapple and we both liked it, fresh lime taste, not too sugary. It was so good I came back today to pickup for lunch. Ordered a chicken burrito with everything it comes with. Got home and wow! It’s huge! Enough for another meal since I eat smaller portions. The chicken is seasoned well and the ingredients are fresh. This was one of the worst experiences I had in my life we get seated and ordered our food and drinks we asked our server if we could step outside to have a smoke she said sure we went outside for it even 5 minutes to come back inside and she has some other family is in our seats and she’s taking they’re orders when I asked the light skinned server she told me o y’all can sit at the bar but I’m sorry that’s poor customer service because if we wanted the bar we would of sat at the bar then to make it worst we get our food no only is the male server is yelling and talking with his friends next to me like while I’m eating and the manager is sitting there looking drunk taking shots with people who walked in like clean up the smoothie you dropped not take shots was so unprofessional to add insult to injury through all of this horrible situation the manager started cooking food without washing his hands how do you go from taking shots shaking strangers hands to making food with no gloves or washing your hands like I was grossed out and cashed out worst $70 ever spent if you want to catch Ebola eat here I had better service at a food truck if one thing I would let people know Is to go before the staff gets drunk or you will...
