Having frequented Culver's on numerous occasions, I can confidently say that my most recent visit was, by a significant margin, the most disheartening. What was once a reliably pleasant fast-food stop has, regrettably, taken a sharp turn towards the subpar.
The operational efficiency and attentiveness that previously characterized this establishment seemed entirely absent. It was genuinely surprising to observe multiple employees not only engaging in lengthy personal conversations amongst themselves but also, quite unprofessionally, consuming food while actively preparing orders. This lack of focus extended to the kitchen staff, whose visible activities through the ordering window included similar inattentiveness, casting a shadow over the food preparation process.
However, the pinnacle of this regrettable experience occurred during my attempt to order dessert. Upon providing my name, the individual at the counter, rather astonishingly, declared it "too hard" and unilaterally decided to assign me a different, simplified moniker. While I understand the fast-paced nature of the service industry, a basic level of respect for a customer's given name is a fundamental courtesy that appeared to be entirely overlooked. Following this peculiar interaction, I endured a wait exceeding fifteen minutes for a simple shake, only to be presented with an incorrect order.
It appears there may have been a significant shift in staffing, as the current team lacks the engaging and attentive demeanor that previously made visits enjoyable. The former employees fostered a sense of fun and genuine customer interaction, qualities conspicuously absent in the present environment. While I appreciate the brand's offerings, this recent experience necessitates a candid assessment of operational standards and...
Read moreSo, my husband and I visited the establishment around 7.30 pm. on December 27, 2023. The cashier (Queen), as she told me, but the crew called her Bella) took my order and everything I told her she looked at me as though I never said anything and continued to ask me my order again. She kept asking me if I wanted everything that I had just told her and proceeded to key it in as though she was dazed. She called me momma instead of ma'am. I walked away to allow my husband to continue to give her the order because I couldn't take it anymore. She took my husband name instead of giving him a number. I promise this person appeared to be high or drunk. Of course, she got our order wrong, causing our bill to be about 3 bucks more. The customers behind us also complained and asked us if something was wrong with her. There was a family of five that came in and saw how she was acting and told us they were leaving because they did wanna deal with that. It took about 10 minutes for her to take each order. She then abruptly stopped and pulled off her apron and proceeded to leave while the other workers were calling her name. She stated that she was leaving because about 5 people were calling her name. She showed a lack of professionalism, decorum, and consideration to the business, co-workers, and customers. I'm not sure what her issues were, but she should have been checked when she showed up to work like that. The store lost lots of business this evening because of her and we don't plan to return...
Read moreRudest and most unprofessional experience ever going to this Culver's. I understand that with a job, there needs to be a fun and uplifting atmosphere for customers AND employees alike, yet this was not the case. The cashiering experience was awful as no kid would volunteer to come up to take someone's order, even with a line, and EVEN WITH at least 10 employees up there at the front just standing there and each pointing to each other to see who wanted to cashier compared to the other. Then, when finally eating, a group of young adult employees, who I assume were teens, were SO rude. They were talking really loudly and even playing around with each other, joking around at a loud volume right next to us for a good 15 minutes or more. One of them even realized when my friend looked back and tried to talk over them when talking to me because I could not hear her, and the one employee noticed, said "Oh sorry" and then PROCEEDED TO talk and joke around with other friends/employees RIGHT NEXT TO US. They could have gone and done that anywhere else, but just continued to be rude. Just such an unprofessional, disappointing, frustrating, and rude...
