I am just DISGUSTED with the manager of this establishment!!! First of all let me state that I have been a patron here for over a year. Me and a friend met their 2 times a week after working night shift. We never had any issue. I got my husband and 3 kids enjoying the food so we order every weekend. This weekend was particularly special as it is our youngest daughters birthday. We also have a friend from out of town staying and we RAVED ABOUT THEIR FOOD AND HOW KIND THE STAFF ARE. My husband went to pick up our breakfast and the bartender helped him as we chose to add meat to a dish we ordered. They were very busy as they usually are on weekends yet the staff remained polite. When we unpacked the food at home, we noticed the bourbon street PEACH pancakes had nothing on them but chopped pecans between the pancake layers. We looked in the bag and found peaches in a cup. No bourbon sauce and no cream in between each layer of pancake as it states on the menue. This is a seasonal item but we order the regular bourbon st. pancakes EVERY WEEKEND and all of the toppings come on the side accept they layer banana in between each pancake with the pecans and whipped cream & bourbon butter on the side. So, I called the girl at the bar to tell her everything was missing from the bourbon st peach pancake. That we got a few sorry peaches in a cup. That's it. I wasn't rude however she was relaying this to the manager. Ms. Manager said check the bag. I said please tell her ovecourse I did!!! Ms. Manager said did you find peaches? I replied Yes I established that already. It says each pancake is layered with some peach cream and we have none. Nor do we have the bourbon st. Butter! This women told me to recheck..I told the bartender to put the manager on the phone please. She said Ms manager said we are super busy... ARE YOU KIDDING RIGHT NOW? LADY WE JUST SPENT 120$ on breakfast and went on & on to our guest about how great your established and employees are and this is how you treat a customer? I was embarrassed too, in front of our friend! Not to mention OUR DAUGHTER'S FAVORITE IS BOURBON ST. PANCAKES AND IT'S HER BIRTHDAY WEEKEND! I said WOW your manager is completely disrespectful and rude! The girl from the bar apologized for the rude manager!! I said tell her we will just bring it ALL BACK and please REFUND MY CREDIT CARD! My husband is sitting up their now trying to return our breakfast and I'm just LIVID about how we have been treated!! We have a pending refund on our credit card. My husband was approached by another manager and he did not look at her name tag however, she apologized for the behavior of the manager in the kitchen ( who claimed while I was on phone with employee from bar, that she remembered personally helping with our oder and putting peach cream on the pancakes) 🤯 and asked him if he would like to wait while she remade our order. He said no thank you and asked to please refund his credit card. To the young lady at the bar, I'm sorry I forgot your name but you were respectful and I'm sorry your manager put you in that situation! WHAT A COWARD!!! To Maddie up front, The hostess...she was kind and offered to give the owner my name and number. I am very upset with how we were treated and I will NOT EVER BE EATING AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. If the owner gives a crap about their restaurant then I hope they read reviews because this is not only A HUGE LET DOWN FOR MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY but, we had a little tradition going on and now it's...

I travel A LOT for work, and I’ve eaten at thousands of restaurants but I have never experienced service like this. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Southern Hospitality at its finest. The food was delicious and I also liked the atmosphere!

Here’s my story: I’m about to leave the city after a 4-day work trip. My friend says I need to experience more ā€œGeorgianā€ food before I leave. I call Another Broken Egg Cafe because it was close to the Savannah airport. A woman named Rachael answered the phone and was extremely kind. I asked about their menu to see if I could get that ā€œGeorgianā€ taste. She recommended the Deep South biscuit sandwich + city grits. I also asked if they had anything with peaches. She tells me to hold on, and a gentleman joins the call and says his name is Chef Stephaun. He says he was heading out and that he can pick up some peaches and make something that I can try before I leave town. I was flattered, but I told him I didn’t want him to go out of his way. He insisted that it wasn’t a problem at all. I thanked him and told him I was heading over to the restaurant.

At this point, I’m already feeling that this is the best service ever! I arrive and tell the woman at the front desk that I called in earlier. She says my name and gives the warmest welcome! After getting seated, I tried the Deep South first and it was rich in flavor and made me feel that I would’ve regretted leaving the city without stopping here first.

But then, just when it couldn’t get any better, Chef Stephaun comes out and brings out the most beautiful plate of peach-topped pancakes! It was STUNNING! Even though I was getting full already, it was too good to stop eating.

And Rachel comes over to check on me and asks how I’ve enjoyed the food so far. I tell her I was blown away, and she proceeds to show the most genuine happiness and a smile that says, ā€œSee… this is why I work here. To bring joy to others, one meal at a time.ā€

I see Chef Stephaun one more time and tell him that this is the best dining experience I’ve ever had. I will never forget how I felt dining there, or how the food tasted, and now it’s a must-go whenever I’m back in town.

10/10 -...

We arrived around 9am on a Sunday and were told there would be a 30-45 minute wait. I don’t mind waiting but it would be nice if a reservation system was in order through online or google maps. If there is, I don’t see any indication on here and judging by the large crowds waiting with me, I’m not sure if they even take them. Anywho, we were texted and seated at the first available, which unfortunately was outside. Luckily for us it was only 80 something. They had fans on but it almost felt as if heat were blowing from above me. Either way it goes, a cool drink helped me to be comfortable. They do not serve alcohol until 11am on Sunday’s so if you aren’t from this area, be advised. Their cocktail menu looked really good but we just finished right before 11am. I ordered the strawberry pound cake French toast with a side of chicken sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. The French toast was good but it definitely tasted like cake sliced topped with strawberry’s. It wasn’t giving the fried bread feel of French toast. No crispness at all. Just soft, cake. It was also room temp, had it been warm, might have been a better flavor to me. Eggs and sausage were good. My daughter ordered the cookie dough waffle with no complaints, my partner on the other hand ordered the chicken and waffles and said it was the ā€œworst chicken and waffles I’ve ever hadā€. He didn’t even eat the waffle so idk how he could draw that conclusion but his words, not mine. The menu seemed to have a lot of options as well as seasonal items, which I can appreciate. I can’t speak to how great our service was. The hostess who sat us was really friendly and engaging and the waitress we had was definitely on point and attentive. Staff is amazing! I’d say work on the wait times or at least allow for online reservations (the hostess us we got there EARLY, had we gotten there later would have had to wait even longer than the 30-45 minutes we were given upon arrival). The food isn’t good enough to be waiting 40 minutes to eat but the pleasant staff makes...

We are locals and have eaten here several times but haven’t reviewed this nice little restaurant - so here’s our Review 😊 Another Broken Egg Cafe is located at 201C Tanger Outlets Boulevard suite 530 in Pooler Georgia ( obviously close to the Tanger Outlets ) We were about 30 minutes away and knowing how busy this popular restaurant is and always a wait - I decided to use their app and sign in for a reservation to eat there . It showed me I had about 15 minutes which was about the drive time - & only had to wait a minute when we arrived . That worked out great šŸ‘. We wer seated and ordered their Biscuit Beignets ,& we each ordered a Strawberry St. GermainĀ® Mimosa . Beware the mimosas are good but watch how quick they sneak up on you if you’re driving. ( $12.00 each ) The Beignets were a little tough - maybe they were a little old or heated , we have definitely had some much better at that restaurant before. I ordered the BacquezoĀ® Omelette with fresh country potatoes and my wife ordered the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler with grits. They were both hot and good eats . The sunrise Spinach Scrambler was the best with delicious spinach , onions and bacon with Jack cheese - it’s large and plentiful. The Chorizo was in the Baquezo omelet was pretty spicy and all the creme cheese was on one side of the Omlette - when you cut into it on one side - a lot of creme cheese would pop out , and nothing on the opposite side - it’s like they threw it together - in a hurry when preparing……so it was not as tasty as I would like . They were both ok overall with the sides very good . We will be back - maybe not getting the mimosas , to avoid $24 on the bill . It’s all according to how your day is going and how much your budget is šŸ‘šŸ’• A nice restaurant with many options and a lots of variety on their menu - A very nice restaurant - & very popular …. Buts that a sign of a good place to eat .😊

These are Verano Tacos. This is what I paid over 15$ !! šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜† pla……..easesee NEVER AGAIN !!! This place has ok food, but they are entirely too expensive . 2 soft shell 6ā€ with 2 eggs and bacon is NOT worth OVER 15$. I’ll give 7.99 AT BEST ….NEVER AGAIN. Update: (Response to owner) Your prices did not get in the way of me enjoying my meal, your portions and poor preparations did. On one of the tacos, you have eggs that take up half the TACO on the other side you have eggs that’s maybe half. For 15$, OVER 15$. I expect to have a decent/ same amount of ingredients on both. For over 15$. I expect to have larger size tortillas if not burrito size wraps. For 16$ I can buy 60 eggs, 2/30 pack tortillas a pound of cheese and still have $$ left over to put in my gas tank. So for 15/16$ even AFTER the pandemic ( cause we know a lot of restaurants doing price gauging) I expect to sit down and yes ENJOY my meal. Not sit down WAITING to enjoy my meal and when the meal arrives I’m saying ā€˜WTH, is this what I paid 15/16$ for?ā€ So to be clear, your PRICES although expensive, we’re not the problem. Your size and proportions were. If anything, what you guys need to look into doing. Is adding a third taco to the meal. Like every other restaurant in Chatham County/ Low Country does at this price point when ordering Tacos. Thank you for your response and have a wonderful ā€œSavannah Strongā€ day !! šŸ‘
