This is not the first time I've had a situation at this zaxbys. I work in food service myself and my girlfriend is a high school educator, we DO NOT deserve this kind of disrespect. Everytime we order meals with no zax sauce it's almost guaranteed to still be on there. Its the most common requested thing and you have a button specifically for it. That's on the cook AND the server to make sure its not there when it hits my hands. When its still on there I never get upset, I go back in and ask them for it to be done right politely. Over THREE times I've asked for this to be done and I've been greeted with immature and unprofessional attitudes from both the server AND the cook. I don't even know how the cook is able to have an opportunity to say anything to the customers though the tiny window. The server has to beg the cook to make it right and I'm not sure if its the same cook but he gives them backtalk everytime. I get things like "who doesn't like zax sauce" or a racist remark like "oh I see that they're vanilla" the server even said "you ain't just got to stand there" after requesting the error to be fixed and I'm waiting for it to come out. There's never an apology, only attitude like I made the mistake. Again, I'm a bartender and server myself, I'm not difficult and neither is my request, it's the most common one. I deal with way more difficult situations and customers that treat me like garbage, I would never be able to talk back to them and still have a job. I never complain like this but when I'm or my girlfriend is being straight up embarrassed or treated differently because we are white I'm going to have a big problem. Read moreOn Wednesday I ordered a meal from the Zaxby’s Mobile App. I’m used to the location of mobile apps automatically updating to the nearest store and I was going through the process so quickly that I overlooked the pick up was set for Pooler, GA instead of my location in Atlanta. I called Pooler to inform them not to make the meal and I was advised to reach out to Zaxby’s to have it canceled and replaced back to my Zaxby’s account. Unfortunately I did not hear back from Zaxby’s, and since I am in Savannah area today, I am glad that the manager of the Pooler location is able to accommodate me.
This is a far fetched request, but customer service goes a long way. I wouldn’t eat at a place without good customer service, which doesn’t mean giving the customer what they want—but listening to a consumer and seeing what options are within their ability to represent the human race. It doesn’t matter what you do, but it’s how you do it. This Zaxby’s in Pooler does things the right way. She didn’t have to remake the order for me, we could’ve ate somewhere else, but I kept this location in mind from how nice they were to cancel the order from being made the first time to them being willing to remake the order when I am able to return 238 miles to visit their location again.
Great management, great staff, great customer service skills, restaurant has always been clean when we visit this location for our trips to Savannah/Pooler area from Metro Atlanta.

Read moreSo on Thursday Dec 23.21 I arrived to Zaxby’s on pooler pkwy which closes at 11 pm I sat in the long line waited for 25 mins to feed me and my kids and the was no organization by the way but I’m sitting and waiting and one of the staff decided to come and put up cones at 9::45 pm and say we are short staffed and my mgr Blanca said we are not taking no more orders so I politely ask did u or your management didn’t see me sitting on the line waiting with my kids .Granted I understand your are short staff but that was just poorly handed and horrible customer service and if you planned to closed earlier then usual make preparations I really feel bad for the staff who has to work under poor leadership sadly I had to explain to the kids they ran out of food so they wouldn’t bare witness to the complete disrespect from the young man. Honestly I wanted to share some dissatisfying words with him but it wasn’t even worth it he was a baby working under poor leadership looking all stressed the BEtter Business should really look into these companies how they are slaving their employees God bless them all however I will never return back to this location or maybe no more Zaxby’s ever I was located in States and never experienced this poor service these must be franchises because the owner of the Zaxby’s in statesboro would not allow this type of service I guess it’s Chic-Fila...
