I have to share my experience because I believe the Chatham County Health Department needs to take a visit to this Chipotle location, if not shut it down. When I got off work Friday night, it was getting late and I wanted to get a bowl lined with a tortilla for my dinner. This was by far a terrible experience with customer service and cleanliness.
The lady who was serving customers (Almost out the door) rudely gave a look, mumbled something and walked away when it was my turn in line, as if talking to herself in her own world or something to deal with food in the back. Another lady came over to start my order. I told her what I wanted and so she put one glove on her right hand to take a tortilla out of the packaging and put it in the warmer. When she took the tortilla out of the warmer to place into the bowl she used the one hand with the glove on and her other bare hand to fix the tortilla in the bowl. I asked if she can please get me a new tortilla & use gloves when handling my food, so she washed her hands and used a new pair of gloves this time around. She put a new tortilla in the warmer and got a new bowl. This time around she over warmed the tortilla because it was brown and crunchy, so the other lady who came back from the back told her to get a new tortilla, which she did. She gloved up again with new gloves and proceeded to make my bowl. By the time she got to the end and went to place the lid over my bowl, I noticed she took the glove off her left hand and had the one glove on her right hand still. Her bare hand touched the tortilla trying to push it into the bowl to cover it with the lid. When a new lady went to ring up my order, I was repulsed and told her I'm not getting the food because it was the second time the one lady touched my food with her bare hands. I believe the person who rang me up was a manager at the location because she walked away from the register to bring the lady who fixed my order to the back office to have a talk. Not once did a manager address this situation with me though. That was the last time I will ever visit the Chipotle location on Pooler Parkway.
The service at the location in Savannah Quarters was much better the week before when I went to get food and if I want Chipotle, I will go to that...
Read morei ordered takeout and messed up my order with directions based on my dietary needs. The workers had poor customer service when I asked them if they could politely fix my order. but instead they told me I had to wait all the way back in the line during the middle of lunch hour rush. I told him that I was in a rush because I had to visit my sick mother. They told me with through the attitude “what do you want me to do about it? whether you walk through those doors or not, my paycheck stays the same. I was an emotional distress. I walked out the restaurant with my head and my palms. tears falling from my face like a waterfall. well, I wish most is for them to find God. I understand they may be insecure on the inside, but that does not give me a reason to express their true emotions in a customer service based industry. It’s hard for me to sleep at night. I’ve contemplated suing the restaurant for emotional damages, and for me having to go to a therapist. To talk about my issues if anyone can help me in anyway, please reply to this message. This is a message for Help we need to stop this kind of service from chipotle, a company, and talk about how fresh their ingredients are the cross-contamination between the chicken and vegetables is even more fresh. The workers work without gloves or hairnet frequently touch their face, ears, eyes, and nose and mouth. One worker in distress was coughing in the back. I am with the fullness of discontent. Please...
Read moreUsually when I come I have a fine time personally, it’s always two girls I see in there working hard w no complaints, one with a septum piercing and one brown skin girl. They look on the younger side But today as I went I watched 2 guys make my bowl. One looked like he was newer and getting the groove, and he may have been struggling a bit it happens, the worker assisting him on the line with a small puff coming out the back just seem very inpatient with him and just saying all the stuff he was doing wrong * not the time or place doing that in front of customers, I know it’s embarrassing on his end. * I watched them as I was eating my food and his attitude was just nasty towards him still. I then asked the nice girls I always see in their for one of they managers just to talk about what I’ve been watching and she basically made an excuse on why he was acting like that because of “ mouth surgery “ but I was trying to let her know it has nothing to do with that. Instead of saying she would talk to him about it she just was making more excuses and saying that he was one of her best workers like that made it acceptable? Hated to see it. He was doing a fine job to me. Even another customer made a comment about how they should switch since he was telling him how he was doing everything wrong. I just feel like it’s a time and place to correct your employee/co worker. But again I love the two young girls I always see in their, wish I...
