Iâm a food currier and when I went in the restaurant to pick up a delivery for the first time ever I had no idea where food pick up was. When I went to the bar to ask the male bartender, who was awesome, but l saw him covering a full bar, answer the phone plus take online orders deliver food that was not at the bar. When I asked a younger girl very skinny brownish reddish hair with pale skin if she could help me since he was busy and by himself she said thatâs not my job category I have other things to do and proceeded to go into the kitchen and stand by the door of the kitchen and be on her phone and would occasionally walk from the front of the restaurant to the back to the kitchen several different times completely ignoring me when I asked her for help a second time after being there for over 15 minutes by that time I tried flagging down a manager who had a broken wrist or what look like a manager possibly a host and asked if someone could help me since the bartender looked to be extremely busy and wasnât able to help me she said oh the bartender will be right with you heâs in charge of all my orders and I was like well because he is so busy delivering other peoples food not on the bar would it be possible to check on my delivery for my customer when she looked around to see that the young girl was just standing in the doorway on her phone she called her over and the little girl said oh yeah I was already working on it a blatant lie and she said the bartender had already told her she he would take care of it The poor mail bartender came back with my order and apologized that it took so long and I was like well if you had help it wouldâve taken so long so I do apologize that you have this kind of customer service with your other coworkers I felt so bad for him but he looks to be like an awesome worker and the other two do not seem to care much about their position or their job or being...
Read moreMy friend and house guest, Wendy and I went to the ATM to get a substantial amount of cash and headed for San Diego Grill in the Pavilion in Port Orange, Fl. After dinner when we left to go home, Chris (general manager) had found a billfold that belongs to me. For Identification in this billfold was only a check with an old out of state address and a lotto ticket w/o the signature on it. But Chris was trying hard to track me down. It was difficult to find me as I leave my phone turned off more than turned on. Chris, somehow heard that we lived in this Fly In and contacted the gate guards and that must be how Chris got my husbands phone number. Three days later, I walked into my home and my husband was on the phone with Chris. My husband was confused and almost hung up because he did not know that Wendy and I had eaten there and he had not even heard of this fine place with super nice and qualified staff. Large cash bills, a lotto ticket and an out of state check was all there in my billfold when I went back to pick it up 3 days after we were in the restaurant I had not even noticed that I had lost it until Chris called. Chris is the general manager of the San Diego Grill and is an honest, hard working, outstanding man. Think of the options that he could have chosen to have done with that cash. Please go to the this very nice San Diego Grill in the Pavilion in Port Orange and shake Chris's hand. You will feel great knowing that you shook the hand of a truly honest man. He deserves recognition, praise and a raise. PS Joseph was our server and he did a great job serving us. The food was so good and I will be bringing house guest...
Read moreStopped in for a quick lunch before a movie. We both ordered a burger ... now I love a medium rare burger...and there are places where you order a medium rare burger and it still comes to the table well done. I was pleasantly surprised to get a burger that was warm to touch and cooked a perfectly medium rate. My only midly negative comment would be the caramelized onions instead of chopped pieces I would have preferred sliced so I could have tasted the onions as most of the pieces fell onto the plate as I ate the burger. So, my order was a burger medium rare with bacon and caramelized onions... it was pretty dam delicious. the sweet potato fries were a plus. My lunch date also had a perfectly cooked burger. A few weeks ago, we stopped in for lunch, which was my first time in. At that time, I ordered the half and half chicken salad sandwich and half cesar salad. Both were delicious. This is why we decided to try the restaurant again. Now about service. From the front door which is opened for you as you arrive. yo being seated, you feel welcomed. So far, on each trip in, we have had attentive services with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not only do they take your order, but listen to your concerns and menu questions . They are attentive without being overwhelming.
It is a big yes of our going back for...
