PSJ Grill — Restaurant in Port Saint Joe

Just had an amazing dinner at PSJ Bar and Grill with no wait! We were on the wait list with a 75 minute wait for a popular local restaurant and decided to give PSJ Bar & Grill a try and our party of four were all pleased with our meals. The grouper platter with shrimp, Cajun cream sauce and two sides was only $25 and it was a huge quantity of food. The lightly blackened grouper sandwich with fries and cole slaw was $17 and also so tasty with generous portions. Highly Recommended: After our last visit to St. Joe, a month ago, we were set on trying somewhere other than the Brick Wall (7 visits). Well, it was a great decision. At arrival, there was only one other customer, but it was an hour before closing. We were slightly worried. The service and food were outstanding. Our order included a burger, wings, a tuna melt, pasta and chicken. The warm bread was a pleasant surprise. Okay, my tuna melt was outstanding and came with hot fries and a spring mix salad. This was absolutely the most disgusting food we've ever eaten. No idea why it's so highly rated. I had the strip which was so tough and fatty I could barely cut it. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box but worse somehow. My husband had the ribeye which was excessively fatty, gritty and like a greasy sponge. We were the only ones dining there at 6pm which should have been a clue. A local shop owner recommended this place and I'm very disappointed. We feel sick after eating there, just a gross feeling.
