My wife and I always used to love Dennys but it's been a number of years since we had the chance to visit with the pandemic and such but we may not ever come again after the experience we had tonight. Allow me to explain.. the whole experience was HORRIBLE. Our server was named Costina, and right off the bat she got our drink order wrong, and it went downhill from there. There was zero sense of urgency and attentiveness during the whole visit. We had to give our food order multiple times and it was still wrong. My wife ordered chicken tenders with Ranch and got very overcooked ones with BBQ sauce. She asked for Ranch again and when it came it was very wattery. Her burger was overcooked and she asked for no onions and extra mayo but got onions and no mayo. My sandwich was hard to eat as it was too crispy and I asked for double hashbrowns with cheese and got regular ones with no cheese. Once we choked down our overpriced dinner we waited 30 minutes to get our check and finally had to go track down the server and ask please if we could pay and leave, only then to get an extra 10 dollar hold placed on my credit card. I really feel I should get my $50 back but I am not confident anyone will read this and respond. I work in customer service and have for years and if I treated my patients the way we were treated tonight I would have been fired. I doubt we will ever visit again. Words are insufficient to express our...
Read moreOn Veteran's Day, I finally had the opportunity to visit our new Denny's in St. Lucie West, and I must say, the restaurant looked nice, warm, and cozy when I first walked in. Unfortunately, I did not receive a warm greeting when I walked in and was not even acknowledged. Two gentlemen walked in after me, and the general manager, Naziki (not certain about the spelling of her name but it is pronounced Na-zee-kee) looked past me, gave them a very warm greeting, and invited them in to be seated. I felt invisible. She continued to ignore my presence while conversing with other customers who approached her counter. As a female veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force, I would like to explain to this general manager and her team that, regardless of that fact, we ALL should be recognized and respected regardless of our race, gender, culture, religion, etc. Everyone deserves the best customer service and to be acknowledged. I would have only given this review two stars because of her rudeness, but on a positive note, there was one gentleman named Atilla, who took the time to greet me while I was waiting. He was an amazing cashier who showed great professionalism during my visit - I really appreciated him! The Grand Slam breakfast was also very good so because of that and Atilla being so kind, I will give this review 4 stars instead of two. You are fortunate to have him as part of...
Read moreI am updating my review. Just went back to Dennys and it hasn't gotten any better. We sat at the counter as the restaurant was slammed. The waitress upgraded our order and then we sat for 45 minutes, watched at least 10 people come and go from the counter area. WE WATCHED OUR FOOD SIT UP TO BE DELIVERED FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES, no waitress to be found. She then tells us, it shouldn't be much longer as she disappeared again and as we still watched our food in the window. It was finally delivered ice cold and all wrong!!! The first manager did not seem to care about our situation. We were telling her what was going and our food magically was delivered and she magically disappeared. Then we asked for the manager again and a 2nd one showed up. Didn't even offer to make a new HOT order for us, instead we walked. The older manager stated that we would get a free meal next visit but who wants to go back!! Going to ihop from now on!
I was so happy a Dennys was right in my neighborhood until I ate the super dry eggs and the uncooked sausages.I went several times to give it a chance since it just opened. They need a peek from corporate to get things...
