There is a green-eyed Monster that manages this franchise. I ordered food online. My bank sent a confirmation that this was approved on my credit card. I’ve ordered food online numerous times and I never go into the “pending section”- I am either sent an email or text that my food is ready and I go to pick it up. Or I just go. This time was very different. Their online ordering system is sketchy and usually we have to call our order in. But this time it appeared it worked! I went to get my order and she (Tori?) said it was not showing up in her screen. Now- I’ll back up a bit. When I entered through the takeout door, which no one else seems to do, I waited for about 5 min before anyone said anything. I even had eye contact with one of the cooks. You’d think he’d at least alert someone. A young worker was helping an elderly lady that was talking his head off. I took deep breaths but I was HUNGRY!! Tori (the manager) came out and asked if I was being helped. I said no- but I did say something sarcastic about the old lady taking up the kid’s time and that I was invisible- ok could’ve handled that better. Back to the order. She said there wasn’t an order from me. I showed her the debit in my bank app. And then I really don’t know how it got out of hand or why she wouldn’t look into it for me. I showed her a few places on my phone where it said my credit card was charged. You’d think she’d at least look into the vendor they use for the service. She said you haven’t been charged! I looked again and I mentioned it was in pending and then she says- we’ll that’s why- so you owe me an apology?? Ummm no! Because they are ALL in pending even for a few days!! She threatened to call the police and told me to get out. I stood there baffled and knew this order would be charged to my phone with no food service. She said she’d put in the order, but she couldn’t credit something she hasn’t seen. So would she have just given me the food and not charged me again?? Today the charge has successfully arrived in my “History”— I’m wondering if my order did eventually get through. There are NO GREEKS that work there, except for a lovely lady I just spoke to on the phone. That is the problem. She is a rude, bullying, unprofessional, scary female- from the Middle East. AND THE FOOD IS SO SO!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE- also each of the 3 or so times my husband has gone in the past, the food is never ready- and that online system rarely works- and when it appears to work, it still doesn’t work- except to charge your credit card. See the charge posted below. What a scam.

Occasionally, I have a taste for Mediterranean food. If you're in Port St Lucie, I would recommend The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. I ordered the Great Greek Gyro for lunch. It consists of Beef and Lamb, Romaine Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Tzatziki Sauce and Feta Cheese inside a soft Pita Bread. The quantity was excellent, plenty of meat and veggies and no doubt you will leave full. The only small complaint was the meat was slightly above room temperature and not even hot. Additionally, they could have splurged a little bit more on the Tzatziki sauce. For dessert, I had the Baklava. Its' like a pastry made of flaky Fillo Dough, walnuts and honey syrup. A very tasty Mediterranean dessert of which I highly recommend. Only thing is...real Baklava has whole clove leaves pierced on top through the surface for that added spice. My food was served very quickly...less than five minutes. The restaurant is very clean and possesses an atmosphere conducive to a Mediterranean theme with Greek music playing in the background. I absolutely love the back patio with the three gazebos overlooking the lake. I bet an evening dinner here would warm the hearts of a couple watching the sunset. In conclusion, the quality of my food was good and very tasty. The price was fair. I paid $16.40 for my lunch. I have every intention of returning and bringing family and friends. I rate a B+ sas efcharisto Thank You in Greek

I was very excited to try this restaurant especially with it's prime location! Unfortunately, our visit started off with receiving glasses that had a lot of water stains (which I understand if they hand wash dishes and have to let air dry) BUT also sticky food residue on the inside and outside of the glasses! It was not dried and caked as if it went through a dishwasher, it was either not washed properly or occured after it was washed. When we returned the glasses, the staff had no reaction and put at least one of those glasses back with the other clean glasses even after it had been in our possession. We ended up just asking for to go cups. I ordered the gyro plate which comes with a side salad . The flavor was decent but the dressing, which I'm assuming was supposed to be oil & vinegar based, tasted mostly oil on lettuce. I am not a fan of mostly oil salad dressing personally. The gyro meat was tasty like most other Greek restaurants, and the Feta fries were pretty good. Being that it was my first and probably my only time eating there, I cannot speak to the rest of the menu, but cleanliness is super important to me and seeing the attitude of the staff non responsive to discovering they had accidentally given us dirty glasses, was a huge turn off and definitely overshadowed and tainted the rest of my time there. Would've been a 4-5 star rating if not for this issue.

Management could have gained MANY customers this morning, but instead escalated a bad situation and lost many instead.

While sitting on the public patio in the rear of this establishment, having a coffee from the business next door with my father; Management decided to send out a very young server to basically do her dirty work and tell us we didn't belong there due to space constraints. Funny thing is, the restaurant had just opened and they had no customers to speak of. The way they went about all this was short sided, put a blemish on our (until then) nice morning, and offended us. We were their having a wonderful time (Prior to this incident). We had been their enjoying the space and the morning, well before the business was opened. We were done with our coffees and were actually casing out the restaurant for a possible future family outing before we left (to which I will now NEVER follow through with). Then we were told to vacate, like we were a problem for them, yet they had NO customers especially none chomping at the bit to sit where we were. Correct me if I'm wrong, but for a service based business like this to turn perspective patrons into upset mouthpieces seems like very poor management skills to me. I'M SO OVER HOW MANY PLACES ARE TOTALLY CONTENT BEING RUDE AND LOOSING CUSTOMERS, SHE COULD HAVE EARNED LOT'S OF NEW CUSTOMERS WITH THIS OPPORTUNITY AND ACHIEVED HER GOAL BUT INSTEAD SHE LOST THE SAME IF NOT MORE... Restaurants fold a dime a dozen. If this manager really had concerns and wanted us to move she should NOT have sent a very young server out to deal with such a touchy issue, she could have come with some small inexpensive sample, talked us up and sat us where she wanted, that's what I did when I managed several successful restaurants. Or simply waited the 3min we would have stayed before leaving for a moot pair of perspective customers. Expect poor customer service and management who isn't able to handle typical restaurant issues with any sort of real positive...

Zero stars if I could. EDIT ON REVIEW : I’ve had one of the worst customer service experiences here. I called on 4/8 to speak with the manager, Victor, regarding a refund I was promised. The employee I spoke with told me Victor would be in, but he wasn’t. I called again on 4/9—still no Victor. I explained the situation to another employee, who then contacted Victor directly. When told I was upset and considering calling the police due to the lack of response and the fact that I still hadn’t received my refund, Victor reportedly said, “Tell her to call the cops. I won’t be in until Sunday to give a refund.”

This is completely unacceptable. What kind of manager responds to a serious customer concern like that? I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. If this is how they treat customers, I wouldn’t trust them with anything.

And I think Maria is related to Victor 🤷🏻‍♀️

ORIGINAL: I placed a carry-out order at 8:38 PM for two chicken gyros. When I got home at 9:04 PM and opened the bags, I realized they had given me lamb gyros instead. Naturally, I was upset and called the restaurant. The same girl who took my order answered, and I informed her of the mistake. I told her I’d be returning the incorrect order and expected a refund. She said OK.

As I was heading back, I called again to confirm — since I realized they had closed — and she then told me I’d have to come back tomorrow for a refund because there was “no manager” on site. That’s not acceptable. I wasn’t going to eat something I didn’t order, and I don’t have time to chase a refund the next day. I work full-time. Figure it out.

This isn’t the first Great Greek location I’ve been to, but it’s definitely the first one with such careless and unprofessional service. I won’t...
