On Friday night, March 1, 2019, I visited the Hurricanes at the Tradition location in Port St. Lucie. It was my sister, my 1 year old niece and me. We were honestly debating whether to come here or the pizza place next door. I regret not going next door after my horrible experience at Hurricanes. As we were walking in, we held the door open for the lady who was going to be our server, who was walking out with drinks. We didn’t even get a thank you. We walked in and saw a sign that indicated for us to seat ourselves, so we did. We sat outside and my sister went in to ask for a high chair for the baby. As she was trying to get a server’s attention by saying “excuse me”, the server turns around and loudly says “What?”. We sat outside for about 10 minutes before anyone came out. Our server comes out and takes our order. All we ordered were 10 Wings. She seemed to be in a rush. As she was being obnoxious collecting the menus and deciding they go back on the table, I asked her if they had Michelob ultra on tap and she says yes and I asked to get one. She responds in affirmation. She goes back inside. I waited 15 minutes, still no beer or wings. So I go inside to the bartender and ask to order a beer from him and if he can cancel the beer I ordered through my server. As I’m waiting for my beer, I’m standing their with my credit card in hand and my server walks by twice. She notices me. So I go back outside with my beer I paid for at the bar, and receipt. Five minutes later, we get our wings and I explained to her that I already got my beer from the bar and if she could take the beer I ordered from her off the bill. She proceeds to tell me that she never rang me up for a beer. I guess, she forgot. Anyway, we’re eating and the sauce was all dried up, including the chicken and I’m thinking, “was all this worth it for these wings?” The server never came back to check on us. At this point, I’m very upset. I put my card out so that I can get my bill. She comes out with a bill, immediately. I loved how she’s so prompt to take money but not so prompt to wait on us. Anyway, as she’s dropping off the bill, she tells me “make sure you pay for that beer”. I said I did at the bar. And I showed her the receipt. She looks at it and says “this is not your receipt, this just says how much your beer is”. So I said “No worries, I’ll go inside and get a receipt from the bartender”. She says “No, no. It’s fine. You’re running me behind”. I was running her behind??? You did nothing for us. You didn’t ask us if we needed anything. I’m running you behind when your accusing me of not paying for a beer? I’m a paying customer, I did not deserve this service. As she comes back with my card and bill. I noticed there’s an added gratuity of $2.10. So she didn’t care how she treated us or made us feel. She was still going to get her tip. Since when do you place automatic gratuity on an order of 10 wings? This is honestly, the worst service I have ever had in my entire lifetime. So i ordered my food over the phone and mad e a big deal with the waiter sauce on the side (i got a hurricane chicken salad) i got to pick my food up and the sauce is all over the salad and its grilled chicken no fried. I can deal with the chicken part but its a salad i ordered at 11:34 to pick up at 12:15 sauce on the side is a big deal with a salad or it make it wilt. i explained to the manager who was working the bar that this is not right i ordered sauce on the side im on lunch can this be fixed within 10/15 minutes or i do not want it. they "fixed" it but it took 25 minutes or so i thought they fixed it, i got back to my office and open the salad and there is still sauce all over the salad! meaning the gave me the same salad but put new chicken on it. I do not what type of business they run, but to give me the same food back after it was sent back to the kitchen they should be very embarrassed. The manager Kyle never once apologized for my inconvenience or anything, he couldn't provide me a corporate phone number or a number for their GM. I told him he should be embarrassed by his kitchen staff sending the same food back out, i mean honestly how hard is it to remake a salad? I would be very careful if you eat here, they put the wrong sauce on your wings make sure you check them, they might just wash them off and put new sauce and give them back. I work in tradition square in an office with over 70 employees, when i told them i ordered from this hurricanes they warned me to be careful bc my food will be messed up, so at no surprise they were correct. Read moreThe food was good I can't complain , but the customer service and cleanliness was atrocious. We weren't greeted when we came in. There wasn't anywhere to sit because all the tables were dirty, with cups or plates. A table was wiped down for us , but it was all sticky afterward. I ordered coconut shrimp tiki tacos, that were suppose to come with diced pineapple and cole slaw inside , but my order was taken wrong. I only got coconut shrimp by itself. The waiter , Alyssa , offered me tortillas to turn my meal into tacos but I declined. When she originally took my order , she said that my meal came with two sides , but when the bill came , I got charged a dollar for the second side. She brought the bill not even halfway through our meal , without asking if me and my friend's bill was together or separate, so we had to ask for it to be split. She made it more complicated than it was. She told us that she could split it right down the middle instead of by our own separate meals , but when the bill was returned to us , the bills were indeed split $17.00 and $14.00. Which wasn't right down the middle, it ended up being separated by our meals , which is what we originally asked.
