Beez Neez Gourmet Sausages — Restaurant in Portland

This was the first and only time that I've been to Beez Neez, as it's brand new! I definitely plan adding this to my list of frequented carts, since it's so close to my work 😁

My total came out to $10.00 ($7.50 for the hot link, and $2.50 for the potato salad, which is super worth it!!!).

While this Louisiana Hot Link could have been more spicy (in my humble, spice obsessed opinion), and the bun could have been just slightly less chewy, this was EXTREMELY delicious! (UPDATE: The bun was not overly chewy at all, upon purchasing a Polish Beef Hot Dog during my second visit a week later. It was perfect this time! And the polish dog was on point 👌)

Plus, you can customize the heat & flavor factors with their amazing, extensive list of complimentary condiments and toppings! I think I went with spicy brown mustard, roasted garlic aoli, pickled jalapenos, pickled onions, and pickle relish.

The people working the cart were very friendly, service was quick, and they even offer a couple different reindeer dogs 😮 I'm definitely gonna have to give one of them a try! They also offer the classics (polish dog, regular hot dog, etc). I think they are all 1/4 lb dogs.

Oh, and the $2.50 add-on potato salad is killer!!! It was so thick that it makes the size very deceiving. I was still working on it even after I was already done with the hot link. I thought I was never going to be able to finish it (oh, but I did!). Did I mention that it's homemade? It's honestly one of the best potato salads that I've ever had!

They have a truly awesome entree menu and complimentary condiment/toppings menu. I'll try to get pics next time I'm there, which will be soon 😋

Scale of 1 -5 (1 being worst rating - 5 being the best rating)

Atmosphere: 4 (Its located outside, so the crowd is a mix. But all the better when you want something really good while enjoying Portland.)

Cleanliness: 4 (It is a food cart, but the viewable cooking facility appeared well kept). Menu: 5 (If you are a manly man, and you enjoy delicious hearty dogs, look know further. In house recipes are to die for.)

Service: 5 (The guy who runs this place is amazing. He will set you up with whatever you need to make your hotdog just that much better.)

Sustain: Great taste with an assortment of meats that make you hot dog more than the typical grocery store dog.

Unique: Interestingly enough I use to go to place down the road for my dogs after a night on the town. Turns out this guy taught him and shared his recipes. I will no longer be going there and start ordering from Beez Neez...

Who knew i'd love a hot dog place so much?! :P So much more than that!

After work downtown late night this is the bomb! Even sober yes, don't think for a moment that this is drunk food! I'm sure it's great then too but this is stand up good cuisine. To top off the great selection of dogs beyond classic they also cook up from scratch some of the best brownies you've ever had! That is if you like gooey fudge amazing brownies. Bam! Always a different type they are trying out. At least they used to, I sure hope it has stuck!
