I can't say enough about how lovely this place is. Grade A+ 101% all the way. 100% Gluten free and the best Pho I've ever had. Stopped in for dinner on our way to the Roseland theater and my oh my was I suprised. We looked all over the google for food near by and decided Pho would be nice, and boy were we not disappointed. I have to say for sure this is the best I've ever had. So delicious, and the proprietors were a lovely couple that were both funny and more than helpful. I had some basic warm Sauki that then owner recommended and it was delicious, it paired nicely with our bowls of Pho. I had the Beef Ball Pho and my Wife had the chicken, tafu, vegetable (both were in 48hr cooked beef broth). The Pho sauce is 100% gluten free which I've never seen before anyware, so that was such a treat. We also had an appetizer of the egg rolls which did not disappoint...point of fact...the table next to us traveled here from Gresham and also though the egg rolls were amazing 🍜 Our entire meal of two 38oz Pho bowls, appetizer, and jug of Sauki was only $49. Amazingly delicious, wonderful people, great music and great atmosphere and art abound. Very fun place and fun proprietors that were super friendly and happy to have us for dinner. Before we left the owner started playing guitar along with some Karoke music up front (6pm), and I decided to join him for our rendition of My Girl. It was a great time and even better food. Go here, enjoy, share some smiles and leave with full bellies. ❣️❤️🥰♥️ 🇻🇳🥢🥣🍜

Update: June 2022 -Was in town for the day and this was the only place I wanted to eat for dinner. I'd been dreaming of this place since I ate here last October. I even had a their business card in my wallet for months I love this place so much. Everything is so delicious. This go around we got an order of egg rolls, meatball Pho (yes again, so so good) and PHO fit, along with a teriyaki plate. I like the flavor of my meatball PHO compared to my wife's veggy PHO but to each their own. All was so so delicious, and owners were very gracious and attentive. This place is dedicated Gluten free cooking, so we had Gluten free beers to wash everything down with. After the meal we went for a walk around the local parks in the area before heading out of town....

I'm surprised these people are still open. Note that I have never been a patron of this restaurant. I have worked in the hotel near this restaurant and have had PLENTY of negative interactions and experiences with the owners of this restaurant and are reviewing them based on their attitude and how "neighborly" they are.

First and foremost, I worked as a front desk at the hotel on the other side of the block and have had NUMEROUS phone calls from them reporting homelessness and loitering to their restaurant. I've had to remind them MANY times that I am not THEIR security and that they need to call non-emergency. The last few times they tested my patience because they expected ME, a front desk agent that does NOT work for them, to do something with THEIR OWN problem.

Secondly, the restaurant owner FREQUENTLY came into our establishment, helped themselves to our free amenities that were SEPCIFICALLY for our own CLIENTS. He would help himself to our coffee, our pens, papers, would PRESSURE us to advertise his restaurant to our guests (we refused and would warn guests there are other better restaurants).

Thirdly, they HAGGLED to death with our valet. We allow non-guests to use our valet parking for a monthly fee. We had about 30 or so customers and they were the ONLY ones demanding some sort of discount because they were "friendly neighbors".

Fourthly... This was the killer of all. They got into vocal confrontation with one of our staff. What transpired was the restaurant owner asking to borrow a hose, which we obliged. One the hose was returned, the engineer proceeded to do some sidewalk work and used their spigot for cleaning. The owner then came out raging at our staff member, saying we were adding money to their water bill. They proceeded to aggressively state how our hotel was killing the neighborhood and ruining his business.

This was my experience with dealing with that restaurant and to this day I continue to dissuade people from that restaurant. I don't work at this hotel anymore, but I still warn people about this god...

Came here, first time. Sat at table and was given menus. After a long spiel ending with verbally informing us the actual prices are higher than advertised on menu, our impulse was to walk out. But wanted to give it a chance still, desperate for food, for pho. I looked to the left of my booth (a window seat) and find a very old used covid mask and large cobwebs across the window sill. Should I run now? No. I still want to be fed an overpriced meal. Heard a microwave ding and thought hope that’s not how it’s done. Ordered rice cakes and and they came out looking like globby clusters of old uncovered rice left in the fridge for days. It looked and tasted like a joke. I ate it and sobbed on the inside. Wanted to walk out yet again but felt looped in having ordered more. Pho came and after one sip I was very confused, it tasted like salt water. I tried the other persons and it was better but the flavour was sideways. As I picked through the pho, the vegetables were brown and freezer burnt, which was an extra charge. Server/owner came by and asked how it was and I couldn’t respond, but not because my mouth was full. We were silent and he just dropped bill and walked away. This whole experience felt truly awful and I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I decided to complain by walking to the owner away from the other customers and was asked if I wanted to sing a karaoke song. I said no, and explained the condition of the vegetables among the quality of the other food. He was shocked but agreed the vegetables could be freezer burned. Didn’t apologize and very dismissive but did take small percentage off the bill but not enough to justify all the extra costs. Normally always take excess food home but it was too repulsive to even consider. TLDR; karaoke doesn’t make up for terrible food quality and lack of customer service and lack of apparent sanitization. I feel nauseas writing this and hope I don’t have to taste this broth on the way up too. Other person is still very...

We accidentally showed up a little before they opened (4:20, they open at 4:30). They were very gracious and accommodating. We have auto-immune disorders, so eating out is often tricky. Not here. They are dedicated gluten free and dairy free, which is a good start. They make their own meat balls and hoison sauce from scratch, so they know everything that is in the food and it is easy for us to avoid corn and nightshade exposure (which will trigger auto-immune flare ups). We simply had two butterfly bowls of pho, held the rice noodles and meat balls (they use potato starch in them) and eliminated the jalapenos from the plate. The serving bowl is a bit smaller than a normal large bowl of pho, but don't let that fool you. First, the broth is RICH. Almost dense on the tongue, weightier. I know what I'm talking about, as I regularly make my own bone broth from scratch. I know my way around broth generally, and pho specifically. Their claim of a 48 hour broth is believable to me. Second, the bowl is packed full of grass-fed meats and veggies cooked to perfection. Not too raw, not too mushy. Just right. Very satisfying. The only criticism I might have is I wish there was a little more balance of meat. However, there was certainly enough given the overall quality of the food. My experience is that grass fed/pastured is much more satisfying at lower quantities than CAFO (sad cow prison death camp) meat, and this bowl felt very satisfying. They also have vegetarian/vegan options for those so-inclined. So exciting to see restaurants take nutrient density seriously and provide quality food as medicine. We'll be back!

We found this little gem because it has a dedicated gluten free kitchen, which is a rare find! When we sat down we were greeted immediately by the friendly and eccentric owner, Minh, who quickly seated us and began chatting with us. Appetizers came out quick, all the while, the owner came by the table to make his guests laugh and have a good time. He immediately felt like a friend to my partner and I, cracking jokes and chatting with us about Portland and our trip there. The pho was pho-king amazing! But really, so was everything we tried. The egg rolls, lettuce wrapped pork, and fried rice also complimented the meal exquisitely. Prices were reasonable, food was top-tier, wait times were low, and drinks were strong and creatively crafted! Every ingredient was fresh and high quality and I was able to eat everything with peace of mind knowing I wouldn't have any allergies. In between drinks, bites of food, and just because- Minh dragged my partner and I on stage to sing karaoke with him while he played guitar and made the overall experience feel like a little party! We were only in Portland for 4 days and we made a point to go a second time as our farewell meal in the city. We had just as much fun in the afternoon singing and eating great food and chatting with him about the local culture and history. This place is a must-visit for locals and out-of-towners without question! P.S. you have to see the Pho-to Copies when you get a chance!
