Lovely spot for a tasty pie and a thirst quenching pint. The Stout was perfect, the creaminess and fullness was perfect on a chilly day and went well with the Mushroom Pizza. The Mittens was equally tasty and smooth and a great winter ale. The space is awesome to relax with friends and watch a game, a real homey feel that is cosy with the warmth of the fire from the pizza oven. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about the beer selection. The pizza has a very tasty dough that is light and flavorful and the sauce really compliments the mushrooms. The combination of the Stout with the pizza made for a fantastic meal that left nothing on the table literally... Not even a crumb. This is such a great spot so hesitate to head in, grab a pint or even a flight and follow that up with a pie or two. Next time I would definitely try the pretzel as well! Stop in soon and enjoy!

Camp Pennant is the new “camp/hiking” themed brewery in Portland- and it’s a VIBE! Stopped in for some drinks & hanging out. The inside has adorable “tents” over each table but we enjoyed our drinks on the back deck overlooking the harbor. What a view! Got a couple craft cocktails that were delicious! Fancier types with botanicals & unique flavors. They were strong but delicious! They even came out with fresh florals to accent with- how amazing. The “painkiller” was great and the blueberry cocktail was also a winner. They have a small menu of bites to eat but we just had the drinks so nothing to say about the food- but from others tables, looked great! Staff was friendly. Place felt mad chill. Just people enjoying drinks out on the patio taking in the weather / view. Seriously, such an amazing view for a patio to drink on. You are RIGHT over the water.

If you're a fan of excellently crafted cocktails, Camp Pennant is a great find! The highlights of the menu include the French Martini and the classic Pennant bourbon, served on the rocks with aromatic bitters and a touch of Demerara sugar. Each sip is a delightful experience that showcases the meticulous attention to detail in every drink. The bartenders here are more than just mixers; they are true mixologists who work magic with their spirits. Their expertise is evident in the way they balance flavors and create stunning presentations. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a stylish afternoon, casual afternoon out, or simply want to treat yourself to a perfect drink, this bar delivers a memorable experience. Cheers to the craftsmanship behind every pour!

We recently held a rehersal dinner for my son and his fiance at Camp Pennant. The dinner itself was great. The food and drinks were very good. Once the rehearsal dinner was over, it had been decided that friends and family of the bride and groom would come to meet at Camp Pennant to kick off the wedding weekend. This had been communicated with the meeting planner that friends would be coming to Camp Pennant after the dinner and the bar would be crowded. The staff was unprepared for this number of people and became very rude. Last call was at 8:15pm on a Saturday night. The lights went on and the staff began walking around taking drinks out of customers hands in attempt to get them to leave. One staff member in particular was yelling at guests to "get out of the way and leave" . I personally went to speak to the head bar tender once the bar had emptied out. I was told "you people would not leave, usually people leave after their scheduled event". Unfortunately, a very rude and unprepared staff spoiled...

After being sold and a short opening the former Liquid Riot space has been taken over by Camp Pennant. A breath of fresh air with a new start here is a big plus for me! The handful of times I stopped in at Liquid Riot the service was either poor or other issues were far too common. Even despite a limited menu due to pizza oven not being ready I was impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive and all seemed to be happy! The only food we tried was the soft pretzel due to not being in the mood for seafood but plan to return for pizza. The pretzel was great with the highlight being the beer cheese, great choice for an appetizer. As you could see based off the name they are going for a summer camp vibe and they did well at that from the aesthetics, decor, to the beer names, etc. I look forward to returning for pizza and seeing how they do after being...
