One base offering done extraordinarily well with infinite variations, at a price that's right for a treat, but not an extravagance. I first got excited for this place after trying them at the vegan mac competition a couple of years ago, and have enjoyed following their journey into delicious, socially conscious entrepreneurship.
While it doesn't diminish the food, they have been pretty rude every time we've interacted- not sure if this is something to do with how I present (which is very different from who I am) or maybe it's a fluke and they were distracted by other things going on behind the scenes. Nothing hugely offensive, it just takes a lot of work to get acknowledged even when I'm the only person there, the overheard conversation seems to be a constant stream of complaints, and normal service industry-customer small talk is just not on the menu. The gluten-free cinnamon rolls were soft and not dry. They're fluffy, like a yeast roll should be. And they're perfectly flavored. The filling was rich with cinnamon and sugar and has a rich, gooey center to leave you a blissfully satisfied last bite. Grandma Mary would approve!
So so...
