A straightforward, no-frills hookah lounge with a large selection of shisha flavors and good prices.
This place reminds me of my favorite hookah spots back east. Along the wall there are cushions low to the ground so you're not quite sitting on the floor, but you're sitting low, and this extends all the way around so it's like being on a couch when you smoke. There are a few cushioned benches in the middle and some seating outside for when it's warm and sunny. And that's it when it comes to decor.
Well, there are televisions, which I find annoying.
There is very little actual service here. You go up to the counter, tell them what hookah you want, and if you want any other drink but hot tea you go grab it from the cooler and pay. Hot tea they will bring you. They also have a few snacks for sale. this is the whole of the food and drink part. No frills, like I said.
Once you get your hookah the staff is pretty good about coming around to replenish your coals. Otherwise, they are extremely laid back, just chilling like the rest of us. For some, that may seem rude or take getting used to. In the best places back east, this was standard.
I love all the flavor options. Almost every one I tried was really good. I like kicking back on the couch thing and just talking about stuff with people I'm hanging with. I came here once by myself and got some work done--it was nice. And I wasn't the only one.
If you're looking to branch out and try different flavors (dozens compared to the maybe dozen at most other places), come to this spot and give it a try. They even open...
Read moreA friend and I have been smoking hookah in this town for a while (neither of us smoke cigs any more) and at as many places as we can and, for my money, Kings is the smoothest smoking, most relaxed, most attentive place in town. The owner is a quiet, gentle seeming man who is always coming around with coals, first three, then two, then one. Three seemed like a lot to me when I first smoked there but the method works very well. At all of the other places in town I've had disappointments. Either the hookah was harsh, poorly packed, or we just had a terrible time getting some attention. Never have I had those problems at Kings. As far as the feel of the place goes, I lovingly call it the dive bar of hookah lounges. It's dark, not worried about impressing you with a stuck up look, and the smoke is...
Read moreUnpretentious hookah lounge. I like the staff a lot, they're very consistent in their customer service. 🤟 You won't get any attitude nor anything enthusiastic either, no problem about that. Even though I could just stay home and smoke my own hookah and shisha, I come to lounge for the the social atmosphere. I can't wait until it's safe to reopen again. 🙏
Me and a few offers who love this place hope it can improve an agree that it would be an even better experience if there wasn't sports playing on the TVs most of the time; and replace the bright, fluorescent lights, with some warm/dim lighting like table lamps; also the upholstery and hookah tables need to be fixed up and add more of the comfortable lounge seats throughout...
