I really want to like this place... I'm here right now waiting our food. It's been 45 mins since we've ordered. We stood in line for 20 minutes to order and now 50min+ waiting for food. The line was so long when we finished our beers that we didn't think it was worth standing in AGAIN to get another drink while we waited. I wish we at least got our salads so we could snack on something while we wait for our pizza. I really hope the food is worth it.
I think the long wait for food and beverage is due to the seriously understaffed restaurant. There are 2 people on the register and 3 in the kitchen (one I think is the dishwasher) on a very busy Friday night. I hope this is due to staff calling off because I don' think I will be coming back if I have another 50 min wait time for food plus the hellish wait in line to order.
The beer we got is pretty good.
I will update this review if the next time I come back it's a...

Pro tip: Check the table ends for leash hooks.
This last trip was a little disappointing. The positives...all the above mentioned plus they let us sit outside since we finished our nearby run and arrived 15 minutes early for opening.
The negative, non stop depressing Depeche Mode playing for well over an hour. Play whatever you want before opening but it's now spring, the birds are singing, flowers blooming, and we're staring to see the light at the end of the COVID tunnel. The last thing I want to listen to for an hour are really depressing songs. It's seriously enough to say next time, if we hear it before we order, we move on to another local joint. Thankfully the solution is easy, put on a decent Spotify playlist with a...
Read moreI'll admit I've only been here twice, the first visit I walked away with a so-so feeling. For lunch on a weekday I got an italian grinder sub with potato chips. The sandwich meats and cheeses were good, but the bread was kind of hard and just...not delicious; plus it was nearly empty. More recently I came in with a large group of coworkers. The pizza we had ("The Mutt") was absurdly delicious! We stayed for quite a while over beers (they only have beer and wine) and it was a good time. I'm not a beer drinker, it was nearly 100ºF outside and I asked the bartender if they had anything that would be sort of lightish and comparable to a Corona. I did admit I'm a terrible Portlander before I asked this, and he let me try a sample of the "Goalden" which was good enough for me to nurse two pints over the evening. They don't take...
