Worst service I’ve had in a really long time. I’ve been here before and warned my friends that were with me that it would be slow. We sat down at a table and even though there were three people working and wasn’t busy it took quite awhile for a server to come over and greet us (there was a table with dirty dishes next to us the whole time we were there). We immediately ordered our drinks and asked for food menus too. Then he completely disappeared and never came back. One bartender kept going upstairs obviously helping multiple areas, leaving one lady to take care of everyone. We waited for half an hour (we all had finished our drinks by then) before giving up on waiting for the first guy to come back and I walked up to order with the lone bartender. She was annoyed that I was ordering food. It took at least another half hour for the food to arrive and the runner didn’t bring any silverware. We ate what we could with our fingers but needed forks for the bottom part of the dish. I waited for several minutes at the bar before she acknowledged me and when I asked her for forks she gave me a really annoyed look.
With all the options for bars on Burnside I’d think high quality service would...
Read moreMy husband and I were wandering around downtown Portland and we decided to stop in for a drink. We've been wanting to go there for a long time because the building is just so cool. The inside is great, and you have three options where to sit. All the way upstairs is a nice little sitting room that's fairly private. I'm the main level is a glassed in bar where you can just watch people go by, or sports in the TV if you like. And then downstairs is another bar in the cellar which is really a cool space. The bartenders were all great, super friendly and attentive. Our only complaint is they were playing some pretty heavy metal music over the speakers. I didn't mind the music so much as that it was just so loud. Overall it's a great space to take a break when you're downtown. We love all the McMenamins that...

This place should rate a bravo , on anyone's Portland bucket list for the enjoyment of Portland...
