TIPS: on a Friday morning when the local breakfast restaurants have a 40 minute this is a go to
PROS: No wait, 3 options for coffee, good organic coffee, fast service, plenty of seating
CONS: No everything bagel, average bagel breakfast sandwich
After finding out Bayside American Cafe and Hot Suppa both had 40 minute wait we decided to walk to Mister Bagel. The atmosphere is perfect for a bagel shop, however they were playing hip hop music pretty loud on a Friday morning. I was disappointed they didnāt have an everything bagel, so I went with sesame instead. We ended up ordering sausage, egg, and Swiss cheese on a sesame bagel with two coffees. The sandwich bagel was pretty average and the bagel was rather small. Nothing special about it. However, I really like their Wicked Joe regular coffee. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is not for their bagels as I never had a chance to taste them. I came at 10:30 AM on 17 August 2022 to get a dozen bagels and the shop door to the main street was closed. After waiting another 5 minutes, trying to get the workers attention, and being ignored I went around to the side entrance and entered. I asked why they ignored me and why they locked the front door I was told that they didn't want to deal with customers and wanted to take a break. No matter how good their bagels are I don't think it's worth revisiting ever with a pathetic service like I...

Both times I was blown away by how delicious the bagels are- truly among the best Iāve eaten in my life. Being a NYC bagel girl, I find myself to be a bit of a bagel snob and Mister Bagel tops them all.
Apart from the delicious bagels, the service is fast and friendly and the shop is warm and inviting with good music, plus the prices are very reasonable for Portland. The staff is so kind and were so great at making me feel welcome in my new city.
Pictured in this review was my delicious bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel, however I have previously had a bagel with their cream cheese and that was equally...
