Horrible service from the owner. Horrible non-edible food. The chow mein was nothing but compact pressed together bean sprouts. There was no pork in it like there was supposed to be. I couldn't even cut it with a fork let alone eat it. Owner never came out to check up on us, never came to refill our Waters. Was waiting for the bill for over 10 minutes and was ready to walk out because he wouldn't come back out of the kitchen. When he finally came out the kitchen and to the table I told him the food was disgusting and un-eddable.when he came back with bill he would not set the bill down on the table. He held it in his hand the whole time while arguing about the price but would never show us the bill. He also kept trying to argue with me about paying for the food I refused to eat. He took my sister's payment for her meal and never came back with the change. He threw it on the counter and walked back to the kitchen. I will never return, and hope it goes out...
Read moreThe food is always good from this place and the people are nice. However, I ordered a sesame chicken, which out every other restaurant on the face of the earth comes with a sesame sweet sauce with a little bit of spicy pepper in it. Super disappointed most expensive Chinese food that I have ever ordered. Super disappointed, I literally had to get a jar of grocery store sweet-and-sour sauce out of my fridge and heat it up to put it on my chicken. All the bartender could tell me when I called and complained was out, this is how we served out here. Even though what I pointed out on the menu was listed in the dinner menu in the chicken section not the...
Read morePerfect dive bar with wonderful Americanized Chinese food. Every single dish is cooked to order with crisp veggies and nice cuts of meat. Portions are generous and although they don't offer combination plates, the prices are totally reasonable and a couple of people can easily order a few dishes to share. Drinks are strong and you can enjoy the juke and watching video poker while you await your order.
Ps...I've seen a couple of reviewers confused about chow mein, somehow. Chop suey, chow mein, and lo mein are essentially the same in Americanized Chinese food other than what they're served on (white rice, crispy noodles, or soft pan fried noodles). If you are something other than veggies, a meat, a mild brothy sauce, and rice or noodles -...
