Panda Express — Restaurant in Portland

This is my second time at this location and tonight made me remember why I hadn’t came back.

I walked inside at 7:43p and left at 8:10p. but i was helped right away.. I asked specifically for ‘Beyond Original Orange Chicken’ with even pointing to what I was referring to and the woman working still scooped regular ‘Orange Chicken’ I corrected her and she dumped the chicken that was already in my plate back into the bin with the other ‘Orange Chicken’… and also the ‘Chow Mein’ that was on that plate. I ordered two plates and was told I would have to wait 8 minutes for more of the ‘Beyond Original Orange Chicken’ to cook.. I ended up having to wait 20 additional minutes when I was previously told it would only be 8 minutes. The ‘Veggie Spring Rolls’ were mushy and you could tell that they had been sitting there for a good amount of time.. Be warned that you may have long wait times or they simply will not make your order right if you order online, since they can’t make it right in...

I visit this location at least 4-6 times a month! This is my go to Panda Express.... no ones perfect! But it takes an amazing establishment to get five stars from me. I update my reviews frequently! If you don’t think the food is fresh - try a sample to make sure.... my food is ALWAYS HOT and FRESH! Sometimes they can have a line, they still work through it and still add the personal touch you’d expect, we are not numbers as in volume but we’re people spending our hard earned money, they understand that! It’s right off the yellow line stop in and give them your business they deserve it (parking sucks sometimes, people from the MAX I think park there all day, but who am I to know for a fact) it’s Panda Express come on folks! (Claudine seriously needs an attitude adjustment, when I see her working I almost don’t even want to go in) I can guess everything she’s going to say because her “routine” you should care when asking your customers how they are doing, not just cause...

If you're thinking about using a delivery service to order from this establishment, abandon hope all ye who order here. It took me 3 minutes just to get into the building. Another six until they asked me who I was picking up for. Right after asking me, they asked the gentleman who came in after me and immediately got his order for him. Then the gentleman standing behind him, they asked his name and got his order for him. Then they started working on the order I was there to pick up. Altogether, it took 19 minutes to pick up my customers "fast food" Chinese.

In my personal experience of picking up several times at this location for my customers, they take care of their walk-in customers first. Their personal call-in customer second. And whenever they get around to it, they'll take care of their delivery customers.
