Oak Street Coffee — Restaurant in Portland

Okay! New favorite coffee place! I'm just mad that I moved from downtown before this little cart opened up.

The owner (I'm assuming it was the owner?) made the special Vegan for me and it was absolutely delicious! Also the medium sized coffee I ordered was HUGE! I usually leave a coffee shop feeling like I didn't quite get enough, not the case for Oak St!

Not only was my coffee amazing but it was made lickety-split! Granted there weren't any orders ahead of me, but damn! I've never had a coffee taste so good and be made so quickly.

A fantastic start to your morning!

This little coffee stand looks unassuming and it’s an awesome little find to start your morning.

The gal that owns it provides great service and makes an incredible Maple Spice latte. She makes her own caramel and it’s perhaps the best balance of actual flavor and sweetness that I’ve experienced in a long while.

She also gets extra bonus points for using a beans from one of Portland’s excellent local roasters— NorthFresh Coffee.

What an awesome little hole-in-the-wall coffee experience and so much better than a lot of the bigger places with less experienced baristas.

So happy to find Oak Street Coffee right around the corner from my hotel during a short trip. This is a cute small shop run by lovely Michelle. It’s a small walk up shop tucked into a building right next to a parking lot so it’s easy to miss. Her coffee is local, freshly ground, delicious and served with a smile. I was only visiting town for a few days and she remembered me and even what I had ordered the day before. Such a personalized touch and she even make s her own homemade caramel sauces for the lattes!
