PDX Coffee Club — Restaurant in Portland

Portland Coffee fans and aficionados, now is the time to celebrate - downtown is now home to the PDX Coffee Club, a shop designed to foster community around sustainably sourced coffee that is roasted here in Portland, Oregon.

It is no secret that Portland is one of the top coffee cities in the US and now there is officially a one-stop shop to be able to enjoy a list of some of the city’s top roasters, with shots pulled from an equally talented barista/owner, Joe. Out of 45+ coffee shops located in downtown/NW/Pearl alone, this is an essential stop, if not the top of our list.

Come for the coffee and tea (Joe’s Hojicha is a must try, and his home-made caramel is the perfect accompaniment for his fall inspired Hojicha Oat-Latte) but stay for the warm atmosphere and good conversation. It is very apparent that Joe values his quality of coffee and his customers, both.

Good work, Joe – you’ve certainly made a fan out of us and we are quite excited to see what you do...

PDX Coffee Club is my favorite coffee in town! I have to work downtown two days a week and I always look forward to my Wednesday coffee at PDX Coffee Club. Joe, the owner, is so kind and knowledgeable about coffee. His vanilla syrup for lattes is delicious, as are the mocha and caramel syrups. He’s got something for the coffee connoisseur and the casual coffee drinker alike. I love his focus on locally roasted coffee and that there’s a new coffee up around once a month. My husband is not a coffee drinker but loves chai and the chai latte that he had was delicious. As a coffee lover who has been to almost every shop in Portland - GET A CUP HERE!

Lavender mocha w oat milk was exceptionally creamy with a great foam. Lavender flavor was sweet and aromatic without being astringent as lavender can so easily be, and the chocolate flavor was rich and delightful.

Joe is super sweet and gives fabulous service. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about coffee, ingredient sourcing, and preparation technique. And he doesn’t charge extra for oat milk!

All in all, this is in my top 3 favorite shops here in PDX and I will absolutely be back soon and often!...
