The food is far beyond ALL expectations! I told the gal I was with that I’d not had any good pizza since I had left Phx since 2017, and she assured me to simply keep my mind open. She ordered the salad, which, when she served it onto my plate I asked where the dressing was. She laughed at me (not in a mean way) and told me it WAS on there; to simply just eat. And, voila, it WAS delicious! Then came the cheesy bread…need I say more? Whoa! Mind was/is officially blown!!! I told her then and there, as crude as this is, “this bread is better than some orgasms!!!” and, damn, I fully meant it! Truly, so many different flavors of cheese! More than I had ever experienced!!!! My goodness! Wow! Now, the pizza came out a bit faster than I had preferred, personally, as I was still relishing pulling the cheese apart and playing with it, but when it was sitting there, I just HAD to! Now, I’m certainly NO food connoisseur, so I had/have many: Number 1, the only square pizza I had ever seen was with a real cut-throat kinda place that I won’t name, but it was horrible; plus, not worth any honorable mention! But, then to say a dollop of the sauce on the top was just way “too cute” to even stand! I cannot adequately find the words (quite a rare thing for me, believe it or not!) to express nor state how purely impressed I am, in and out, with the quality of the food, staff and service, every facet! Even Jeff, the Chef, came to personally greet us! Made me, as a newcomer, (for sure to return, frequently) feel welcomed and appreciated! Thank you to one and ALL! Oh!!!! And, are you kidding?????? The ambiance???? “To...
Read moreTried the double vision pizza. In my opinion the ratio of crust to cheese and sauce was off, too much cheese. The entire pizza was pretty sweet overall which was surprising. Really generous helping of pepperoncini, probably too much of equal to amount of pepperoni. Tries the ranch and that was fine. Overall preferred Ranch PDX for similar style pizza and for ranch specifically. Music is like folk country but nothing our table enjoyed. Atmosphere is cute with the art lights and plant. Service was okay. Really attentive to start to get our orders and then totally fell off. Didn’t check in after dropping off pizza. Eventually came back to pick up everything . Water is given by Carafes which is nice over a water station but we never got a refill despite being there for a while and finishing our water while still eating the pizza. Not very busy to not have refills or check ins. No...
Read moreFirst time visiting (used to come regularly when it was Please Louise) on a busy Friday evening (5:00) & were promptly seated. Drink orders were made in a reasonable time (although I agree with another reviewer that the $8.50 cost of the beer is a bit higher than usual). Pizza took a while to come (ours arrived some time after the family next to us got theirs after they had arrived after us), but all & all not bad for as busy as they were. Unfortunately the pizza was disappointing as we could not really taste the sausage or the fennel through the tomato sauce and whipped Ricotta florets. Crust was as expected for this Detroit style pizza. Prices for the pies were similar to Please Louise, but not sure we will return...
