We went into this bar at 1:30am hoping for one more drink to end the new year. Little did we know that the person tending the bar would be so incredibly rude. Two people from our group went up and asked for some champagne, and got a rude response back from the bartender that he would not serve them (for absolutely no reason). This was after he served another couple before them seconds before. The bartender then continued to pour drinks for other people at the bar. Another person from our group walked up and asked ‘could I possibly get some bubbly?’ and received a sharp response back from the same bartender that he was not going to serve her. He then glared and asked ‘do you have anymore questions?’ The girl was shocked and said back that she did not. The entire group then walked out of the bar, but on the way out the bartender was pointing and making rude comments about the group to the other customers sitting at the bar. This was the most upsetting end to the night and I would heavily advise that management takes care of this problem. I will not...

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Went there last night and I was told that they couldn’t serve me because my Spanish passport couldn’t be taken as a form of ID. They said that it needed to be a US issued passport or military ID, but what happens if you’re not American and you’re here just visiting? According to Oregon Law ‘Before selling or serving an alcoholic beverage to any person about whom there is any reasonable doubt of the person’s having reached 21 years of age, a licensee or permittee shall require the person to produce one of the following pieces of identification: (a)The person’s passport issued by the United States or a foreign government.’ But it wasn’t just that, the bartender was super rude and unwelcoming. I felt super uncomfortable and embarrassed, I wasn’t even ordering and alcoholic drink. This is the only place that has treated me this way, and I’ve been living in this city and neighborhood for 9 months. I see that they are willing to serve foreign food, but not...

I don't care if I feel super bougie every time I come here. I also don't care that the bartenders already recognize me. They're either really good at their jobs, or I am there too frequently. I'm gonna go with the first option, for my own sake. The food is good, I love the meat and cheeses! Also, can't go wrong with fries. The drinks are THE BEST. I love their boulivadier and sangria. Both are really delicious and satisfying too. Strong, in a good way. The bartenders are also super friendly, clever, and non pretentious, which I really appreciate. If you asked me my favorite bar in Portland, I would say it's this one. If you don't have plans tonight, make some at the Solo Club. You won't regret it!! (well, you might if you end up spending wayyyy too much cause you're having an amazing time and forgot that money and finances were a thing) but it'll sort of be worth it and you'll be...

Stepping into the Solo Club is a unique experience indeed - as it has the perfect combination feel of the local hangout paired with a sophistication you can put your finger on. The attention to detail of the decor is striking. The lights, the bar stools, the greenery, the tile and the massive salt column - wow. And... It's Burger Week in Portland! And yes, Solo's sliders were scrumptious.🍔 They have a full bar as well as beer and if you leave here without ordering the cauliflower steak and brussel sprouts you'll regret it. This is our new go-to spot for quality food and tasty drinks when we're in PDX. Cheers!

Super cute little place! It's a very inviting space with surprisingly more space than first meets the eye. The menu is tapas and lite bites, but it's all very tasty and reasonably priced. I tried all 3 variety of street tacos, and they were all excellent. The craft cocktails are interesting, creative, and delicious 😋 (also a very generous variety of happy hour drinks for $11) This is a great spot to chill and hang out with friends. The staff seem friendly and helpful as well. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm definitely coming back here. 👍🏼

My wife and I rented out Solo Club during the day for our baby shower and it was the most BEAUTIFUL and perfect space for the occasion! The guests loved all the drinks and food! The bar is so aesthetically pleasing and there is tons of natural light making for the best photos. It was truly an unforgettable day. The staff were all so helpful as well! There was plenty of room for the guests to move around and mingle too. Highly recommend! All of our friends said it was definitely the most fun baby shower they have ever attended.
