Salt Yard Cafe & Bar is the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel like you have discovered something special. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me want to stay awhile. The space is beautifully designed, with just the right balance of cozy charm and modern style, creating the perfect backdrop for any occasion.

The food here is outstanding. Every plate that came to the table was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in using fresh ingredients and putting thought into every dish. Whether it was the perfectly cooked mains, the creative appetizers, or the irresistible desserts, everything was made with care and attention to detail. The drink menu is just as impressive, offering a variety of handcrafted cocktails, quality wines, and great coffee. Each drink felt thoughtfully created, not just thrown together.

So I am a local here and have been to this place twice. The same thing happened both times. The first time I came here with my friend and we both ordered food and a drink. Both separate orders. They brought our drinks and my friend got her food. It wasn’t until 15 minutes later when she was already done eating they brought my food out. They said they forgot about it. My eggs were cold when they came out and I was a little annoyed because I went out to eat so I could eat with the person I came with… but they gave me a free latte for an apology and all was fine. Now today I came here by myself. Ordered a drink and food. Lo and behold. I get my drink. 10 minutes go by and people who have ordered after me are getting their food. I had to go up to the host stand and ask if my food was coming. They were asking me what I ordered and what my number is and that they forgot it. HOW I mean HOW are you a restaurant that “FORGETS” to bring someone their order. Great food and coffee but their service is just not acceptable to me. Hope they can get a better system going or something, because can you not “forget” my 20 dollar egg breakfast? Because when I pay 20 dollars for some eggs, I don’t really want them in the back getting cold for them to never get to me. Super weird it’s happened...

Phenomenal food, drinks, service, and ambiance. 5 stars across the board!

We just happened to stop in as the nearby diner had a long wait and we were famished. I am so happy we did - the experience was excellent.

The lattes were perfect, and the food was sensational. I just ordered eggs over vegetable medley - I am one of those people that make the atrocious sin of putting ketchup on everything, and this dish was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned that I genuinely didn't have to use any - and for me that is a true rarity.

They have a pastry chef on staff and they are definitely skilled, the lemon-blueberry crumble was perfect.

The staff was beyond lovely as well.
