Scooter McQuades — Restaurant in Portland

I recently witnessed an absolutely appalling display of mistreatment of a group of friends at a particular establishment. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

As I was sitting at a nearby table, I observed a group of friends who were clearly having a great time, laughing and enjoying each other's company. However, one of the employees of the establishment approached the group and began to berate them, accusing them of being too loud and disruptive. It was clear that this was not the case, and the group was simply enjoying themselves like anyone else would at a social gathering.

The employee's behavior was completely uncalled for and highly unprofessional. It was clear that this establishment has no respect for their patrons and does not value their business. I was deeply disappointed to see such mistreatment of innocent people.

I strongly advise anyone considering patronizing this establishment to reconsider. The mistreatment of this group of friends was completely unacceptable, and I would not be surprised if similar instances occur regularly. Save yourself the trouble and find a place that actually values...

After years of coming out to Scooters, it's time for a review: It is a "biker bar" and I have witnessed many "bikers" fighting outside, one of which there was a memorial for fairly recently. As for the venue, the food quality is pretty standard. They seem to have decent fry oil so anything of that ilk will be moderately acceptable to taste though usually over salted and seasoned (used to enjoy the tots, now I say avoid). They have one decent server that everyone loves but all the other staff are awful. It's devolved to the point where they primarily hanging out and serving people they seem familiar with. The veritable straw on the camel in this instance was regarding the staff; it was not busy but they were hanging out and kibitzing with their friends. We waited nearly 10 minutes just standing at the bar, no one else waiting and then when we went outside to smoke with our drinks, after seeing so often people consuming illicit substances in their outdoor dining area, I was admonished for pulling on my vape while outside the tent. I love the bar because they have fairly decent drink prices.I Live stones throw away so every now and then I will get a burger and fries and its actually pretty damn good and at a great price.The only problem that I have had over this weekend actually.I had been.playing the gambleing machines and kind of caught the fever and hit the atm machine up 5 times.On my 4th time getting money out of atm It made the dispensing sound and everything just like every other time but my 20$ didn't pop out but my receipt did and it deducted it from my account.I got the bartenders attention immediately and told him my money was not dispensed he said maybe it didnt go through but my card and receipt said other wise.I attempted to use the atm again and this time it worked and my 20$ was dispensed but it did take my other 20$ from my prior attempt and the receipt said same thing.Bartender told me to come back monday when owner was there.So Im heading over at 10am and we shall see If the owner...
