Rally's — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I was here around 1:00am because I was craving a good ol' Fry Lovers Fry. Person taking order was polite ans friendly. Did'nt take long to order and pay. But then, I was asked to pull up while they prepared my order. This is a Rally's, you know they don't have any designated waiting spaces! So, I pulled up and turned in front of the walk-up window, trying to make room for the car behind me to get out. I wait about 20 minutes and no one brings my food out. Random guy pulls up to the front of the restaurant (seemed like a friend of the workers), walks up to the window, and gets a large order, already packed up an waiting for him. So, now I'm like "My food has GOT to be ready!". I get out the car, walk up to the window and they are like " What are you waiting on? 🤔". Obviously they have no idea where my order is. It was about 6 or 7 people working (which was strange) and so they all start looking for the order. It was half-made on a back counter somewhere. Missing my XL fry. Food was cold. Very unfortunate experience but I was starving so I ate it. Now, my expectation for a Rally's is always average. Because...Rally's. lol. But man, this one was tough! If you go, just have your expectations...

Never have i ever eaten at a Rally's. Out for lunch on business i read to my coworker the choices in the area. She lit up like a Christmas tree literally crying about her childhood eatery as she snapped photos from the drive though. Once around to the speaker an AI voice asks yo take your order. This took some time as the AI decided to choose violence today and not understand a damn thing we asked for. 😒 once we got our food and back to training it looked super good. Smelled good.. i couldn't wait to try this. The French fries were decent crispy with some seasoning. Biting into the chicken was a whole other experience. It was like a dry sponge 🧽 😐 like i took a bite out of SpongeBob's a$$. The chicken was coated in a crust "fried chicken bites" but had little chicken substance inside. I dont even want to call it chicken.. it was some kind of filler but not chicken. We couldn't eat it at all. Wont ever try this place again. The only positive about this meal was the honey mustard. Dasher here! Day shift is amazing. Orders always ready with a smile. Late night shift is terrible. Continued to ignore all Dashers waiting outside in the cold at the window while they served drive thru—car after car after car! I had to cancel 4 orders because I stood out there for 40 minutes at 1:30 in the morning. Unprofessional, immature, and inconsiderate. They also played favorites to women who came through drive thru first and then came to the window. They got their orders no problem. If they didn’t want to serve door dash orders during the late shift, then they should stop the service. One man was there to pick up 2 orders and received only 1 and was waiting along with me for the other one another 45 minutes. I left and he was still waiting. He was an older man and they didn’t care at all. We could have been invisible as far as they were concerned. I will only accept orders from Checkers during the day shift from now on. They respect Door Dashers and I...
