3 for 3 visits all bad. First one ruined my kids clothes. Bowls were not sealed leaked through the bag ruined my son’s brand new sweatshirt with grease stains then when he proceeded to get out of the car with the bag, the whole bottom of the bag fell out, and all the food ended up all over the sidewalk. Chipotle refused to reimburse us for the cost of the sweatshirt, but they comped our meal which only have 30 days to use didn’t use it in time so we lost the certificates. I called them. They were able to put them back on my account service is good….. next order was not ready on time Time around 20 minutes late and it was placed well before the store opened. The. my kids get their meals a different time. Awful kids meal barley and food in the slots about half full the cilantro in the rice is brow . And the chip bag; the chips are stale and the bag has a hole in it, so when I took it out of the bag, salt chip crumbs all over my counter all over my floor all over everything. My son ordered an My son ordered a meal. This bag had food and rice stuck to the bottom so again my seats in my car destroyed with food from chipotle from putting the food inside and dirty bag. Read moreThis was a 5 star review, now down to 2. I used to love coming here before a movie, but it's been a while and quality has gone way down. For starters, the wait was crazy. 15 min to get thru 4 people before us? Then I found out why. The server couldn't figure out how to put on gloves (the little finger on the side is the thumb), but I get it... he was probably in training. They were out of a lot, which was odd for a less than busy location at 6:50, but ok. They grabbed me some chicken from "the back" which was cold enough to make me think they meant "the fridge." Of course, then there was the corn salsa, which I'm pretty sure was just a bag of plain frozen corn (I literally chewed down into an ice piece). Once we got the food, we found the table with the least amount of garbage and spiled food (2 occupied tables, all others had food and spills on them) and ate our dinner. The downside to eating before a movie is there's no time to go elsewhere, so it is what it is. I thought about talking to the crew, but not sure what good it would do and not really needed (it was still food, and tasted okay). They're just high school kids, not really their fault. My guess is they need more support or training or supervisor to work on quality, and it's hard to keep staff in Poway. I will probably try it again, but not...
Read moreI was really disappointed with this Chipotle location. As someone who eats Chipotle 1–2 times a week and just signed up for rewards after my brother recommended it, I expected better. My family in both Southern and Northern California often defaults to Chipotle when no one can decide on food it’s usually a reliable, quick, and filling option.
Unfortunately, this location didn’t meet that standard. I asked for a quesarito and got a burrito that was noticeably smaller than any I’ve had at other Chipotles. Chipotle is known for their generous portions, especially with burritos and bowls, but this one really missed the mark.
Out of two bowls and one burrito, none of the orders came out fully right. Maybe I caught a new employee or an understaffed moment there were only two people working (a young woman and a man at the register)but it lacked the usual care I’ve come to expect.
The Chipotle I go to regularly in Arizona has a full team with a manager present, and the difference in quality and service is clear. Not the worst experience, but definitely a letdown from a brand I...
