Update After giving them a second chance at lunchtime.
Been here before for lunch. We went a little earlier than usual to beat the crowds because the parking is very limited. (1) parking spot for us disabled. We got there about 10:30 and were told we couldn't order a lunch sandwich until 11:00. We had to order breakfast. Big disappointment. I ordered a chicken friend steak with eggs over medium and they came out over fried.
The serving size was small and the hash browns were overly oily. Toast was stale and even with the butter and jelly was to dry to swallow. Due to the small portions we were still hungry but decided to skip the pie.
The server was good she came around and offered us refills and gave us extra napkins. We tipped her kindly because she shouldn't be penalized for the kitchen's slowness or quality.
We went there after a friend had to fast for some tests at the hospital so we were really looking forward to a lunch sandwich. I guess we will try one more time for Lunch to give them another chance. We will arrive for lunch only.
Went for lunch. We arrived around 11:30ish. Had to sit by the bathroom where we waited 20 minutes for our server to bus other tables. Not just clear them but set them up for the people that weren't even there yet. While we sat we were given drinks however we basically ignored without even someone will be right with you. We got our food yes it was good except the OVER dosing on the Mayo on the sandwich. Not one other person showed up for lunch while we were there so we could have easily been helped prior to their table dressings. I get they don't want people to jump tables once seated but when the place is empty I don't think it would be too hard for us (two people) to eat comfortably without the smell of the toilet. Won't be going back until they can served the people there and wait for the setting the tables for the people that aren't even there. At the very least atleast acknowledge the people that are...
Read moreI recently visited a charming little pie place and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the experience. While they're known for their pies, I decided to try something from their breakfast menu—and I’m so glad I did. The omelette I ordered was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly, fluffy yet packed with flavor, and came with a generous helping of fresh ingredients. You can really tell they care about quality in the kitchen.
The entire place had a cozy, homey vibe that made me feel instantly comfortable. From the warm lighting to the quaint décor, it felt more like visiting a friend’s kitchen than a typical restaurant. It’s the kind of place you could sit and enjoy a slow morning, sip on coffee, and watch the world go by.
The service was another highlight—friendly, attentive, and genuine. Everyone seemed happy to be there, and it added to the welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just a slice of pie and coffee, this spot is well worth checking out.
All in all, great food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back—and next time, I’m...
Read moreHorrible experience! Pies are pretty good and food as well. I ordered an apple pie to go and put in an order for a cherry pie for the next day. Got home after driving 15 miles and they gave me a different pie. I called them and they said they need their pie back. I said OK I’m on my way taking my time and my gas to come back. When I got there, they said you took two slices out already! Then they dumped my pie in the trash even as I asked them well I could give that away to somebody and they blamed it on the health department, and the employees were very rude about it because they made the mistake. Why is that on me? I was humiliated and embarrassed for even asking. You should just give the customer the wrong pie and send them on their way. I canceled my order and got a refund then talked to the owner who is also very rude. Why throw away a perfectly good pie in front of the customer. It doesn’t make sense? Nonetheless, I put her in her place and she really didn’t care. I have never left a review before but I felt I had to do it this...
