Baja's Taqueria — Restaurant in Providence

Good spot IMO. Big portions. The meat was really good. I got the 3 taco deal, because you save a buck ($7.99 for 3/$2.99 for 1). I should have just got 2, but I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to eating a lot. I just can't do it. I forced myself to eat as much as I could, because there's really no way to take it home. It's just too wet, and messy (went through a stack of napkins). I probably got down about 2 1/2 of them, at the most. I was so full. I could barely drive home without pulling over to take a nap, and passed out pretty soon after I got home. Total Thanksgiving Effect. I never eat like that, but it was really good. Next time I'll get two. And nothing else. Like I said. Big portions. I probably should say huge. Their tacos are more like a small burrito without enough tortilla to cover the top.

They were the soft corn style. Double layer tortilla. Honestly it would have to be. No way one could hold it together IMHO. I got two pork, and one chicken. Both meats had a crust on some pieces. Indicating big pieces made with a dry rub, and roasted in the oven. Probably at a fairly high temperature. The chicken was in what looked like natural cooking juices, and the pork was on the counter in big chunks that they chop up. Both very juicy, and the pork had nice fat pieces in it (delicious!!!). They go through it very fast. They must have a big pan in a warmer with more I assume. They have every topping known to man, including free quac (I know this is important to many people). I've also tried the burritos there, and got two meals out of it. Perfect place for after a night out of drinking. No way you could have a bad hangover after pigging out here IMO. Although I can't actually speak...

You MUST go here if you like any sort of mexican/hispanic foods. The FLAVOR is so out of this world i can’t explain how in love with this place i am. I drive for uber eats, and one day, I got a pickup from here. I was very hungry and decided to get a few tacos for myself since they are ONLY $3 each. The same price as taco bell but these ingredients are so fresh, so delicious and customizable. So i ordered the tacos, went back to my car, ate them and was sent straight to heaven. I could not believe how good they were. So i went back the next day. Figured, maybe i was so starving that i just “thought” they were good. Couldn’t fathom how anything could be that delicious. But yet again, another day of being my all time favorite restaurant. I go at least once a week now. I can’t live without bajas...

Usually love Baja's but had a bad experience with this location. I ordered a quesadilla through ubereats for delivery. When you order, it asks you to choose your side toppings. I chose all of the side toppings that come with the quesadilla but was told that I also accidently clicked the option that said "no side toppings." I called to explain my frustration at not getting the toppings that I wanted with my quesadilla. I tried to explain that if I didn't want those toppings, then why would I have selected to include those toppings? They got very defensive and said that I shouldn't have selected "no topping" and that I could drive to them to pick them up and then was hung up on. I feel I should have been contacted to clear up the mistake/confusion before the food...
