I left my overnight shift at the hospital in search of a good acai bowl when I discovered In the Pink on google. I drove to the establishment and upon entry did not see any employees. I did find a kiosk to place my order so I used that. It sent a ping to the machine and out walks an employee with a bucket of about 7 limes. Rather than acknowledging me or the ticket that printed she proceeded to take the stickers off all of the limes at an alarmingly slow pace. I wait patiently by the register. After a few minutes she grabs my ticket seemingly disgruntled. She says while rolling her eyes “you can sit down it will be ready in a few” I walked over to the table and stood by it. She then shouts I said you can sit down I don’t need you standing there watching me make this. At this point I become frustrated that she demanded I sit and then tells me I shouldn’t be looking at her making my bowl. By no means was I watching her however this alerted me that maybe I should’ve been. She began shouting at me, I asked for a refund. She then said she’s irritated about a different order she received. When I asked to speak to the manager she replied that she is the manager. She ended up swearing and yelling at me calling me ugly. It’s not the insults that upset me but mainly just that a business is ran this way. She was short with glasses and looked as though a shower was...
Read moreNot healthy. Called and asked about added sweeteners to the smoothies and was told without a doubt that it’s “only fruit,” the plant based milks are only milk with no added sweeteners, etc. I came in the next day and asked about the nut butters, and the employee working just said “it’s regular nut butter.” I told her that regular nut butter often has oils or sugars added and asked if they could check for me. It turned out they had added sugar and oil. I decided to get a smoothie made with plain almond milk since I was assured the day before that everything was free of sugar. Then the employee pulls out Almond Breeze almond milk, which has a lot of added sugar. This place isn’t healthy, and the employees just don’t care at all. They’ll tell you whatever they think you want to hear.
UPDATE: After reading the response they wrote—this place straight up lies. I purchase the unsweetened Almond Breeze almond milk all the time so I’m very familiar with the packaging. I immediately noticed yesterday when the employee pulled out the ORIGINAL flavor of Almond Breeze, which is not unsweetened and has added sugar. Honestly, why can’t businesses just own up that they use bad ingredients instead of lying? And the employees were certainly not thrilled to be answering any questions. I will definitely never be...
Read moreI come here very often. I’m a very loyal customer. I could say I order from them like maybe every other morning for a quick breakfast. I always order the same exact bowl, but this one time one of the employees made my bowl incorrectly, pouring protein chocolate all over the top ( over the fruits and Nutella) making it soggy and watery and I kindly asked if she could remake it and they refused. Also I had called before I even went to let them know that my order was made wrong and if I could come back to get it fixed since I live right around the corner, she said it was Okay and that it was made wrong just like I said. when I got there she refuse to make my bowl over, said that it was made correctly And that if they want, they can check the cameras to make sure. I’m not sure what they implied by saying that they will check the cameras to make sure it seems to me they were implying I was lying, but I will include the pictures as well I spoke with the manager on the phone Extremely unprofessional so I became unprofessional too. I used to love this place. I would’ve given it a 10 out of 10 recommendation as of right now I will not be returning. Food is delicious. Customer service is trash. 1/10 for me . And that 1 is simply for the bowl not...
