Ordered for family of four through app for pickup, because after a long day of work I didn't want to deal with more people.
Had family look at website to choose their food. My kids both wanted the Hawaiian burger. However, it is not on the app. So had to screenshot each page of app, text them AGAIN and wait for their choices.
There were three different burgers and a sandwich. 2 onion rings and 2 scone fries, 4 different shakes one with Vanilla ice cream the others with chocolate
Finally got them ordered and pay process was another chore. I was asked to verify stuff 3 or 4 times before it finally finished going through.
Then the wait started the order was placed at 6'04 and the app said I would be notified by text when order was ready.
10, 15, 20 minutes pass with no texts and no updates in app. At this point I am in the online 10 minute parking place. I try calling multiple times at least 4 or 5, keep getting a voice mail is full message.
Still checking texts and app never get an update. Go in at 6:44 and have to wait several minutes to even be acknowledged. In reality it was probably 3 or 4 minutes but after waiting 40 minutes for an update, it felt a lot longer
Finally get acknowledged and my order is found on a shelf in a bag and shakes already made in the fridge. God knows how long they were sitting there.
Bag is out on counter and shakes, 4 shakes remember, are brought over without a drink carrier. Now call me picky if you like, but it seems like common sense to bring a drink carrier if there is more than 2 drinks. I asked for one and got it.
Finally get home and have to spend another 10 minutes figuring out what food and shake belongs to each person. Every shake was chocolate. They didn't bother to mark anything. All they had to do is write one word on each thing. Or, even easier, a number to corespond with each item on the receipt. Either would make it easier to hand out.
Finally everyone has their food but it is COLD, as in ZERO heat what so ever. Everything (not shakes, obviously) had to be reheated. If you don't know reheating a sunny side up egg makes it no longer sunny side up. It makes the egg gross.
Meanwhile the shakes were melty. Think thick chunky milk. Think you puked in your mouth and arre trying to rush to the nearest bathroom, can, whatever to avoid puking on your plush bright white carpet. That was the shake texture.
I wish I could say one thing good but I...
Read moreI was really disappointed with my experience. It was my first time going to Morty's and I'm fairly confident it will be my last.
Firstly, the girl at the register was very rude. I could not hear her because it was loud in there, and when I asked her to repeat herself she rolled her eyes at me. I ordered a drink and wasn't sure which cup to take, and when I asked I got another eye roll. Also, there were no lids for the cup I grabbed.
I ordered a sandwich and some onion rings, and waited nearly 45 minutes for my order. I was not told that there would be such a long wait, and it did not seem busy enough to justify the wait times, but that could also be due to the fact that they were also processing online and Door Dash orders.
Now the food. The sandwich was not very good. The bread was soggy, and it looked like it had been thrown into the clamshell container. My onion rings were burnt as well.
Unfortunately, I took it to go, so I could not do anything about it.
I was really looking forward to trying a new place to eat, but I have rarely been so disappointed. Like I said, probably will not be...
Read moreDon’t take this wrong, the food is always awesome. However, today (7/1), we went at noon and stood in line behind 4 other people and 4 behind us. There were also 2 people waiting for online orders. 3 employees were mad scrambling to prep, cook, and serve. But after standing in line for 20 minutes with everyone else, every person got frustrated and began to leave. The poor online order people had to stay, they had paid for their food. Not at one time were we told “it’ll be just a minute” or “sorry for the wait”. The 3 employees just acted as if everyone waiting did not exist. If management was part of those 3, then shame on them and the total disregard for customer service. If management was not there and has not been apprised of this problem, then shame on the employees. Extremely poor customer service and a complete loss of business at a peak time. Y’all may want to consider downsizing to keep up with business and have enough employees to help those keeping you...
