Not one to write reviews but this needs to be told. We are a family of 4. We have a 3yr old, and 3 month old so you already know it's a treat when you leave to dine out. So, we went around 1pm after Santa Pics. The place wasn't busy. Mind you we haven't ate here in about 18 to 20yrs. We've always loved PF Changs. We would always get the Chicken lettuce wraps and Mongolian Beef. There was workers there with a big ladder working on something ac or something it was a distraction for sure. Our waitress was the nicest no complaints with her. She I could tell was extremely overwhelmed running everywhere taking orders, and doing other tasks. Seemed understaffed for sure but it wasn't that busy but she had enough tables that she should of had some help. I felt bad even asking her for something. We got my 3yr old the honey chicken plate they didn't bring the honey sauce. I didn't when want to ask for it at this point after seeing this poor waitress working like a dog. It was giving me anxiety and making me anxious watching her. Then my daughter wasn't given her fruit and ice cream with her meal and again I didn't want to ask for it because my husband and I were already disliking our food and talking about how werid it tasted and how different it was and dips were missing for the chicken lettuce wraps. I had asked waitress and I asked manager why the food all tasted so different and things were different and missing. Apparently, the new ceo changed everything all the recipes. Wow what a bummer. It was 100x better before. It got changed after covid. Go figure. So I didn't want to add another complaint about my daughters missing ice-cream and fruit. She did have old dried looking orange slices but I can't imagine that was her fruit. Nor would I allow her to eat that. Since those hold bacteria because they sit out. Gross. So the Chicken lettuce wraps were even salter than I remember, the lettuce was not the lettuce heads it was tiny romaine slices like the size of a toddler hand, 1 sauce given for chicken lettuce wraps vs the trio sauce so you need to ask for trio sauce they don't give it automatically. The Mongolian Beef was so yucky and different. Tiny little pieces vs bigger strips and it wasn't made with that dark sticky sauce, the beef use to be more well done like jerky but not as dry or cooked. It use to have a nice darker sticky like glaze on it. The meat tasted really werid like raw meat almost I can't explain it. Had bad taste to the meat. It was just really wasn't Mongolian beef. So I just ate the noodles. My daughters plate was cold, her white rice was hard and the jasmine rice we buy and make at home was 10x better, my husband didn't even like my Mongolian beef which he was gonna order but got a different plate so we wouldn't have the same. He got spicy chicken and he loves spicy but said it wasn't a good spicy flavor. The bill was 68.00 . I had told them how awful everything was and we unfortunately would never eat at another pfchangs again. The waitress said she would do something I said no like 3x. That's not why I was complaining but they brought the bill to 32.00. No idea what we ended up paying for because 32 was still alot. Baby was crying and we wanted to leave we already waited for our food long time. My husband did get 2 20 Oz beers maybe that was overpriced beer. I don't know. So we left and my husband said his stomach was unsettled and he didn't feel well and he started feeling worse as the night went on. I felt bloated and inflamed. They need to bring back the original recipes. They are going to lose business if they haven't already. Sorry this is so long. It was just a huge disappointment. I don't eat fast food but I would of preferred McDonald's over this. I would of gotten a happy meal and enjoyed it more than this. Huge disappointment. Stay away from PFChangs. Over priced, cheap Chinese food. I wouldn't eat here again even if they let me eat here for...
Read moreMy family and I decided to enjoy drinks and appetizers after our outing at the Vets Auditorium. When we entered the restaurant, we were reluctantly greeted by the PF Changs staff. There were only a handful of customers dining at the restaurant, so we were pretty excited! There were only six of us in our party, so seating us quickly didn't seem like it would be an issue. We literally waited about fifteen minutes just to be seated.
We waited another ten minutes after being seated for menus. Within a few minutes, we were all ready to order some cocktails.
The staff was gathered in the reception area, talking amongst each other, and did not approach us to take our cocktail order for nearly a half hour. After finally taking our order, we were asked if we would like water. We all said yes!
We sat for nearly another half hour to get our drinks and never received the water that we asked for. We were so frustrated but happy to finally receive our cocktails. Now we just had to wait for the appetizers to come.
Another thirty minutes went by, and our waitress came to the table and had to take our appetizer order again, as she had gotten sidetracked. After about another forty-five minutes, we finally received what we had ordered. We again asked for water, which we finally got.
There were no napkins or silverware to eat with at the table, so again we waited! Our appetizers went cold after about fifteen minutes. A member of my party had to go approach a member of staff for utensils, which was annoying. Finally after so much waiting, we got to enjoy our cold appetizers and desert. The food was absolutely delicious, as were the cocktails.
In total, we waited way too long for everything!!!! We had been there for two and a half hours - it only took us about a half hour to consume what we had ordered.
The service was absolutely terrible! The food would have been even more delicious had it...
Read moreI've frequented many restaurants in my time, but my recent experience at P.F. Chang's stood out because of one person – Nancy.
From the moment we walked in, Nancy's warm welcome set the tone for the entire evening. She was not only personable and engaging but also demonstrated an incredible knowledge of the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, ranging from the Chicken Lettuce Wraps to the Mongolian Beef, each dish bursting with authentic flavors that kept us wanting more.
What struck me most about Nancy was her attentiveness. In a world where service can often feel impersonal, Nancy made us feel seen and valued. She was there whenever we needed something, yet never intrusive. She was able to anticipate our needs before we even realized them ourselves, which is a skill that truly sets an excellent server apart.
Moreover, Nancy's passion for her job and the food she serves was clearly evident. She took the time to explain the history and the ingredients of the dishes we ordered, transforming our dinner into a culinary journey through Asian cuisine. It was evident that she takes great pride in her work, and that passion was contagious.
But perhaps what truly made the evening memorable was Nancy's genuine kindness and exceptional interpersonal skills. She made a point to learn our names, remember our preferences, and check in on us throughout the evening. Her warm personality and professional demeanor made our dining experience not just a meal, but a delightful event.
Dining at P.F. Chang's was a wonderful experience, greatly elevated by Nancy's exceptional service. She is a true asset to the team and an embodiment of the hospitality that P.F. Chang's is known for. We look forward to returning soon, and we will definitely be requesting...
